Destiny 2 player and streamer Gothalion failed to complete his first Salvation's Edge raid when his son disrupted his gameplay at the worst possible moment. Destiny 2, developed and launched by Bungie in 2017, is an online first-person shooter that combines the single-player and multiplayer experience.

Since its launch, Destiny 2 has continuously pushed new updates, patches, and content to keep players engaged. In a recent June 7 update, Destiny 2 introduced the Salvation's Edge raid as part of The Final Shape expansion pack. This raid lets players fight the ultimate antagonist of the game, the Witness. The conclusive battle with the Witness is extremely hard, and that totally explains Gothalion's shocked and frustrated reaction as he gets kicked out of the game right before finishing the boss fight with his team.

In a social media post, popular streamer Gothalion shared a clip of the unfortunate incident caused by his son. The clip starts with the team fighting Destiny 2's ultimate antagonist, the Witness. It's evident from the video that the team was almost at the end of the battle as no hands were attacking them. They were in the phase where players are supposed to deal the final bits of damage before the Witness accepts defeat and retreats from the Monolith, failing to enact the Final Shape. At this exact point, Gothalion's game shuts down, leaving him shocked and with no clue as to what happened.

When Gothalion restarts Steam and tries to launch the game again, he gets a message that says he's logged in on another device playing Bluey: The Videogame. The streamer shares this with his teammates, and they all laugh out loud while expressing how unfortunate the timing was for Gothalion.

Destiny 2's the Final Shape expansion concludes a 10-year story arc that began with the launch of the first Destiny game in 2014. In the campaign mode, the players' goal is to make sure that the Witness fails to enact the Final Shape. The story ends with a final showdown with the Witness, but it's not nearly as difficult as the encounter at the end of the Salvation's Edge raid. According to many fans, this is the most difficult raid ever introduced in Destiny 2.

The raid is so difficult that it took 19 hours to beat, setting the record for being the longest raid in Destiny 2. The World's First Race to beat the Salvation's Edge raid began on the afternoon of June 7, with teams all over the world competing to see who would complete the puzzle-filled raid first. After a long 19 hours, Team Parabellum completed the Destiny 2 raid first and unlocked Excision, the first-ever 12-player mission against the Witness that concludes the epic story arc.
