Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion adds a crafting system that allows players to make their own weapons and select their preferred traits and perks, but crafting requires patterns to either "Shape" or "Reshape" weapons. This can be done by obtaining Deepsight Resonance weapons in Destiny 2 and completing a few specific quests for The Witch Queen, including the introductory mission. Players interested in learning how to get and use Deepsight Resonance weapons can check out this quick guide.

How to Get Deepsight Resonance Weapons

After completing the prologue mission for The Witch Queen, regardless of the difficulty chosen, players will unlock the ability to obtain Deepsight Resonance weapons at any given time while playing.

These can be obtained either through chests or as random drops after defeating enemies, and the Deepsight Resonance perks can only be rolled on weapons from Season of the Risen or The Witch Queen expansion. The first Deepsight Resonance weapon obtained in Destiny 2 is usually acquired during or immediately after completing the second mission of the campaign, called The Investigation.

The quest will be automatically unlocked on Mars' The Enclave after players craft their first glaive and then speak to Ikora Rey. Another great way to get more Deepsight Resonance weapons is to complete activities and defeat enemies in Savathun's Throne World, including Public Events and defeating mini-bosses that spawn chests.

The Legendary version of The Witch Queen campaign also guarantees two chests at the end of every major encounter, making it easier to get Deepsight Resonance weapons this way. It's worth noting that The Enigma glaive doesn't come as a Deepsight Resonance weapon.

How to Use Deepsight Resonance Weapons

Once players have their Deepsight Resonance weapons, they'll notice that they are marked with a red border in Destiny 2's UI, and they will have an exclusive trait that requires progression with them - namely, kills. Scoring kills with these weapons will increase the progression percentage, and completing the trait will let players claim the pattern and a bunch of crafting materials.

Then, players will need to head to The Enclave on Mars once again and get to the crafting station. For new weapons, they will need to select the "Shape" option and then select the weapon from its respective ammo type and weapon archetype sections. At this point, all Destiny 2 players need to do is just select their preferred perks from the ones available and finish the craft by using Neutral Elements, Glimmer, and other resources.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
