Bungie announces the final Prime Gaming Rewards drop, bringing the free Destiny 2 content program to an end after 4 years and 49 sets being released. Loot is a massive part of the Destiny 2 experience, with tons of ways players can get their hands on new weapons and gear. The seasonal model of Destiny 2 has allowed Bungie to continue to bring new and revised loot back into the game, including the recent Riven's Wishes weekly quest, giving fans an opportunity to earn newer exotic armor, Last Wish raid weapons, as well as other rarer materials.

Bungie has also been leaning on collaborations with other franchises a bit more in recent years as well ranging from The Witcher, Fortnite, and even with Sony first party IPs like Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, and God of War. However, the studio recently announced a surprising team up with EA and BioWare, bringing the Mass Effect franchise into Destiny 2. Bungie promises more details to come, but for now, the armor sets reference Garrus Vakarian for Hunters, Commander Shepard for Titans, and Liara T'Soni for Warlocks. Destiny 2 Adds Weekly Missions for Raid Weapons, Other Rewards

Bungie reveals the new Wishes weekly mission content including high value rewards Destiny 2 players can receive including raid weapons and exotics.

In its weekly blog post, Bungie confirmed that the 49th set of Destiny 2 content has arrived on the Prime Gaming rewards program. However, this latest Destiny 2 content drop is unique in that it will be the final one to launch on Prime Gaming Rewards, with the promotion coming to an end after a lengthy period of time. The Destiny 2 Prime bundles began in January 2020, spanning across four years, giving players access to a wealth of free cosmetic content including emotes, sparrows, ships, weapons, and plenty more in that time.

What's in the February 2024 Prime Gaming Rewards

The blog post detailed the final Prime Gaming drop and confirmed that interested Destiny 2 players will have just over a month to accept it, as the bundle will be removed on March 7, 2024. However, the items will remain in the kiosk located behind Master Rahool at the Tower beyond the March 7 deadline once they've been accepted. The final Destiny 2 bundle gives players four additional items, including what Bungie is calling a Timed Prime-exclusive legendary shader.
