One of the biggest mysteries in Destiny 2’s upcoming Forsaken expansion is the Dreaming City. Bungie has given small tidbits of information about what players can expect from the endgame patrol zone, and today Bungie released a new trailer filled with hints of what players will get to take on when they step foot into the Awoken homeland, including some hints about the raid that comes with Forsaken.

The trailer is all about the corruption that has taken hold in the Awoken’s sacred city. Destiny 2 players will join up with returning character Petra Venj to unravel the secrets hidden away in the Dreaming City and hopefully bring peace back to the once-prosperous home of the Awoken. Once players have amassed enough power to safely traverse the Dreaming City, they can delve into the heart of it and take on the powerful raid boss (or bosses) that may be behind this corruption.

Also shown off in the trailer is the new Escalation Protocol-like mode, the Blind Well. It seems that Taken, Scorn, and Hive will be the main threats in the Dreaming City, so players will have to face off against waves of these enemies to claim the rewards that the Blind Well provides. Players will want to pack their hardest-hitting weapons, paired with new weapon mods, to make sure they can withstand the onslaught of enemies in the City.

However, the trailer raises more questions than answers about the epic raid coming with Forsaken. It seems like Taken will be the main enemy in the raid, but we also see Taken, or corrupted, versions of the Awoken Techeun. The Techeun are powerful Awoken that first made their physical appearance in The Taken King in the fight against Oryx. Players will have to wait and see how Bungie ties this ever-growing mystery together when the new raid launches after Forsaken.

Destiny 2: Forsaken launches September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
