Guardians in Destiny 2 have been awaiting the return of the Vault of Glass Raid for some time. With its return in just a few days, Guardians have new information about the raid mods tied to Vault of Glass in Destiny 2.

The Mod System started in Destiny 2 so Raid mods for Vault of Glass are a fresh addition to this raid. Guardians may be curious what these upcoming Raid mods will do and which to look out for. JpDeathBlade on Twitter, creator of TodayInDestiny, shared the 11 Vault of Glass Raid mods for players to check out. Breaking down each of the mods, JpDeathBlade speculates there are most likely obtained through the hidden chests throughout the raid.

The 11 Destiny 2 Vault of Glass Raid mods are as follows: Anti-Oracle, Anti-Praetorian, Aggressive Oracle Disruptor, Precise Oracle Disruptor, Rapid Oracle Disruptor, Superstructure Defender, Superstructure Medic, Superstructure Striker, Vex Breaker, Vex Destroyer, and Vex Striker.

Based on JpDeathBlade’s Twitter thread, cross-referenced with the Destiny 2 database information from Light.GG, Anti-Oracle and Anti-Praetorian may sound like Anti-Barrier but are not the same. Instead, these will grant additional Super energy when defeating an Oracle or a Praetorian.

Aggressive, Precise, and Rapid Oracle Disruptors will deal additional damage to Oracles in the Vault of Glass. Aggressive is focused on Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Grenade Launchers, Trace Rifles, and Rocker Launchers. Precise is centered around Bows, Hand Cannons, Linear Fusion Rifles, Scout Rifles, and Sniper Rifles. Lastly, Rapid is all about Pulse Rifles, Shotguns, Sidearms, SMGs, and Swords.

Superstructure Defender, Medic, and Striker mods activate when standing on a sync plate or near a conflux. When active, weapon attacks that hit powerful Vex combatants have a high chance to either weaken combatants, create a burst of healing for Guardians and their nearby allies, or stun those Destiny 2 combatants, respectively.

Vex Breaker, Destroyer, and Striker have a chance to drop an Orb of Power when defeating a Vex with a melee, grenade, or precision hit. Additionally, multiple copies of these mods stack and increase the Super energy gained when picking up an Orb of Power.

Destiny 2 players looking to make the most out of their future Vault of Glass Raid builds will want to hunt these mods down. The Vex Breaker, Destroyer, and Striker mods should pair quite well with the new Destiny 2 Hunter Exotic Boots, Star-Eater Scales, which grant more Super energy when picking up an Orb of Power. The increased Super energy from Star-Eater Scales mixed with the increased Super energy from the Vex Breaker, Destroyer, or Striker mods should be a combination capable of rapid Super generation. Guardians should keep in mind that like previous raid mods, these mods are only active in Vault of Glass.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
