Destiny 2 isn't exactly famous for being a game filled with cute creatures. The MMO is filled with eerie, bizarre enemy types with unique designs, and it's generally rare that players will see something that immediately screams 'cute'.

Which weapons from Destiny 2's Scorn dungeon Warlord's Ruin should players try to farm first? Here's which one is the best.

That said, Bungie has added a few creatures and characters throughout the years that could be classified as adorable. In fact, some of them have even had plushies made in their honor, which goes to show that even the strangest of beings can be cute in the eyes of the beholder. Here are Destiny 2's most adorable creatures.

7 Starhorse

Dares of Eternity & Xur's Treasure Hoard

First introduced in the 30th Anniversary update, Starhorse is a cosmic horse companion to Xur, the mysterious being that visits guardians weekly with various weapons and gear. He's a staple at Xur's Treasure Hoard, where Starhorse sells bounties for Dares of Eternity. It's also possible to feed him Sugar Cubes, which are earned from Dares of Eternity when defeating a special Taken enemy during the second phase.

Starhorse's voice acting might be a little funny to some players, but there's always room for more cool and adorable animals in a cosmic, space-magic universe. And in that regard, Starhorse fits in perfectly.

6 Vex Harpies

Nessus & Vault Of Glass Raid

Veteran players might look at Vex Harpies and think to themselves that these creatures have absolutely nothing adorable about them. However, given that there's a Harpy-shaped Ghost shell in the Eververse store, it's safe to assume there are some fans of Destiny who think these peculiar Vex creatures do have something adorable about them.

Hefnd's Vengeance is the final boss encounter in Destiny 2's Warlord's Ruin dungeon. This guide breaks down how to defeat it.

The Harpies have a cool, floaty design with a single eye in the middle. When they detect an enemy, their "wings" spread and they reveal their little tentacles from the back. Some Harpies are the Supplicant variant, which explodes and potentially kills the player immediately when close to them. Despite that, they are sort of adorable in their own way.

5 Worms

The Parasite Exotic Grenade Launcher & Multiple Cutscenes

Destiny-2--Hive-Worm-Plush-Revealed-by-Numskull

The Hive worm is among the few creatures in the Destiny universe that has received a plushie. Following the release of The Witch Queen expansion, Hive worms have become more loved by fans due to their chubby, tiny, yet comically somewhat ugly appearance.

It also helps that during the Parasite Exotic mission, players are graced with the voice of a worm for the first time. It's not exactly what most may have expected, but it does add a bit of laughter and comedy to a game and story that can otherwise be quite serious. Recently, during the Season of the Witch, these worms made a comeback in one of the seasonal cutscenes when Eris Morn completes her transformation.

4 Lucent Moths

Savathun's Throne World & Various In-Game Cosmetics

Destiny 2 Lucent Moth Cave

Another gift from The Witch Queen expansion is the Lucent Moth. Now, there are two types of moths in the game: the cute, collectible kind, and then the murderous, dangerous kind that follows after the player whenever they defeat Lucent Hive enemies. Both are cute, but the ones in the cave in Savathun's Throne World are without a doubt just a little bit cuter.

During Season of the Witch, Hunters received their own method to produce these Lucent Moths using the Mothkeeper Exotic arms. This shows that Bungie acknowledges the popularity and the memes surrounding the moths, whether it's the cute or murderous kind.

3 Poukas

Neomuna's Pouka Pond & Elsie's Ghost

Destiny-2-Lightfall-Pouka-Fish-Pic

Poukas were sort of a mystery for players for a long time, making an initial major appearance in a cutscene in Beyond Light as Elsie Bray's Ghost. However, the biggest introduction to these mantis-shaped creatures was the Lightfall expansion, which places their origin in Neomuna, the city on Neptune.

Poukas are not only adorable, but they also have a graceful, beautiful design and animation that gives off the appearance of a butterfly or an exotic bird. It's really a shame that players can't have a Ghost like these Poukas, but those who managed to grab the Collector's Edition for Lightfall were at least given their own statue of the mantis bird.

2 Archie The Dog

Season Of The Seraph & Tower Annex

Dogs and video games have an interesting history. This is best shown in sites like Can You Pet The Dog which lists games in which players can actually give their furry friends a little pet. Its popularity goes to prove that players love the idea of being able to interact with animals even in a virtual setting.

Archie was introduced during the seasonal storyline of Season of the Seraph as a little secret side quest, and was so popular he now sits in the Tower Annex where players can still go and pet him. Hopefully, Archie remains with guardians in the future, as there's no doubt he's among the top cutest creatures Bungie has ever introduced.

1 Fallen Babies

In-Game Emote & Tower

destiny 2 fallen baby plush reveal

There's nothing cuter and more iconic to the Destiny franchise than the minuscule, adorable Fallen babies. As soon as these precious creatures were first seen, it was clear they needed to be turned into plushies—and they were, successfully.

There's even an emote available in the game where players can hold their own little Fallen babies, but those who have yet to unlock it can just head into the Tower and walk around to some of the Fallen refugees to get a peek of these ultra adorable beings.
