The Festival of the Lost has returned to Destiny 2, and with it comes another event-exclusive weapon—the Braytech Werewolf. The only way to obtain the Braytech Werewolf is by participating in the Festival of the Lost 2019. And doing so is a little more involved than just collecting enough materials. While it will take collecting the event's currencies, the Braytech Werewolf is very much the reward at the end of the road for the live event.

In short, to earn the Braytech Werewolf, players need to complete the Master of Disguise Triumph associated with the Festival of the Lost and then turn in 1,000 pieces of Candy to Eva Levante. How to complete the Master of Disguise Triumph? Destiny 2 players must collect all five masks Eva Levante offers during the event.

Unlocking all five masks from Eva Levante takes an ever-increasing amount of Chocolate Strange Coins. It starts with the Hidden Swarm Mask for 10 Chocolate Strange Coins, then the Goblin Mask for 20 Chocolate Strange Coins, the Mithrax Mask for 30, the Calus Mask for 40, and finally, the Drifter Mask for 50 Chocolate Strange Coins. That means players will need to collect a total of 150 Chocolate Strange Coins to unlock these Festival of the Lost rewards and get the Master of Disguise Triumph.

Players can collect Chocolate Strange Coins by completing Festival of the Lost weekly and daily bounties from Eva Levante, with weekly bounties giving five Chocolate Strange Coins, dailies giving two, and additional bounties giving one. These bounties involve completing various tasks while wearing a mask.

Players can collect both Candy and Chocolate Strange Coins during Festival of the Lost by playing through the event's Haunted Forest activity as well as just playing the game with a mask equipped, which has a chance to drop these event currencies when defeating enemies or completing activities. There's also another event quest that players can start by visiting Eris Morn while wearing a mask.

The Braytech Werewolf is a 450 RPM kinetic auto rifle, and the version that players earn from Eva Levante during Festival of the Lost will drop at the max (non-pinnacle) 950 Power level. It comes with a fixed roll of Hammer-Forged Rifling, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Zen Moment, and Kill Clip, fully Masterworked with Range. After earning it, players can turn in materials to get another one, which will drop with random rolls. Doing so costs 250 Candy, 5,000 Glimmer, and 5 Legendary Shards.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
