Prophecy recently saw a massive overhaul to its loot pool. As one of the older Dungeons in Destiny 2, players can enjoy a relaxed experience while also obtaining some high-quality loot. With six weapons up for grabs across a variety of weapon types and elements, there is something for everyone in Destiny 2's overhauled dungeon, Prophecy.

Destiny 2: All Titan Subclasses, Ranked

Titans can brutalize the enemies of the Last City in many ways, so long as they know the best subclasses in Destiny 2.

In addition to some excellent loot, Prophecy is one of the easiest Dungeons to complete. It has very simple mechanics, and there isn't too much of a combat challenge, as the Dungeon is very outdated. This article will rank the six weapons, provide the best rolls available, and discuss how good they are in the current meta.

6 Judgment

Hand Cannon | Stasis

  • How To Get: Final Dungeon Chest from The Emissary
  • PvP God Roll: Moving Target and Eye of the Storm
  • PvE God Roll: Demolitionist and Timed Payload

Judgment isn't too powerful. In PvE, the perk pool is relatively poor. Headstone isn't as powerful as other subclass-specific perks like Incandescent or Voltshot. There isn't much reason to use this over other options like Fatebringer, as it will deal less damage due to Fatebringer being kinetic and Judgment being Stasis.

In PvP, Judgment fails to stack up against the top PvP Hand Cannons. While the perks on Judgment are decent, Moving Target and Eye of the Storm are both good dueling perks, but the stats on the weapon aren't too good, and some Exotic options like Hawkmoon will better serve players.

5 Relentless

Pulse Rifle | Strand

Destiny 2 Pulse Rifle Relentless
  • How To Get: First Encounter, Phalanx Echo
  • PvP God Roll: Keep Away and Zen Moment or Headseeker
  • PvE God Roll: Rapid Hit or Slice and Frenzy

Relentless is only viable in PvP. As a High-Impact Pulse Rifle, it can take down enemies in 0.67 seconds at a decent range, which is absolutely nothing to scoff at. They are also quite easy to use, meaning they can be used by any player at any skill level, thanks to their high levels of flinch and range.

Destiny 2: Top 5 DPS Loadouts

Due to newly craftable weapons in Destiny 2, Guardians will need to use specific loadouts if they want to do top damage in their Fireteam.

Unfortunately, where Relentless massively falls short is in the PvE department. Compared to the top PvE Pulse Rifles, Relentless doesn't stack up. With hardly any good perks while being in a poor weapon archetype, Relentless is a weapon PvE players can skip.

4 A Sudden Death

Shotgun | Void

  • How To Get: Second Encounter, Hexahedron Cube
  • PvP God Roll: Threat Detector and Opening Shot
  • PvE God Roll: Discord and Trench Barrel

A Sudden Death is similar to the Relentless Pulse Rifle in that it is pretty good in PvP but not so good in PvE. Threat Detector and Opening Shot are brilliant perks, and the stat package isn't too bad. Aggressive Frame Shotguns are also pretty popular, meaning A Sudden Death is definitely a weapon to consider and can even compete against some of the best PvP Shotguns.

However, in PvE, A Sudden Death falls off quite hard. While Discord and Trench Barrel are decent picks, players will opt for other weapon types to add clear. However, it is usable, making it better than some of the other Prophecy weapons.

3 Adjudicator

SMG | Kinetic

  • How To Get: Second Encounter, Hexahedron Cube
  • PvP God Roll: Dynamic Sway Reduction and Onslaught or Fragile Focus
  • PvE God Roll: Threat Detector or Subsistence and Kinetic Tremors or Onslaught

Adjudicator is the first of the Prophecy weapons that is good in both PvE and PvP. With a good perk pool for both game modes and a decent archetype for PvP, it lends itself well to both. Most players will see it as a PvP option, though, as Kinetic weapons typically aren't too popular due to their lack of synergy with many builds.

In PvE, players can enjoy either high damage from Kinetic Tremors or an incredible fire rate from Onslaught alongside constant ammo from Subsistence. The main downside of the Adjudicator in PvE is the weapon archetype. Typically, players will opt for Lightweight or Aggressive Frames SMGs as they are better to use due to their higher DPS.

2 Prosecutor

Auto Rifle | Arc

  • How To Get: First Encounter, Phalanx Echo
  • PvP God Roll: Zen Moment or Keep Away and Target Lock or Tap the Trigger
  • PvE God Roll: Dragonfly and Voltshot or Frenzy

The Prosecutor Auto Rifle is one of the better weapons from Prophecy as it comes with a good number of solid perks, meaning players can spec the weapon in many different ways. It is a part of the Precision Frame archetype, making it an immediate hit inside of the Crucible due to this weapon archetype being incredibly powerful at the moment.

Destiny 2: All Raids, Ranked

Raids are some of the most rewarding, engaging, and challenging content that Destiny 2 has to offer, but which of them ranks as the best?

In PvE, the combination of Dragonfly and Voltshot provides some incredible AoE (Area of Effect) damage, which is always wanted on a primary ammo weapon to aid with add clear. Prosecutor is definitely not one to miss for PvE or PvP players.

1 Darkest Before

Pulse Rifle | Solar

Screenshot of the Darkest Before Pulse Rifle from Destiny 2
  • How To Get: Final Dungeon Chest from the Emissary
  • PvP God Roll: Elemental Capacitor and Headseeker or Kill Clip
  • PvE God Roll: Attrition Orbs or Heal Clip and Incandescent

Darkest Before is comfortably the best weapon available from the Prophecy Dungeon. Unfortunately, this weapon can only drop from the final encounter according to loot tables, meaning players will have to farm the final boss (however, this isn't too difficult). In PvE, Darkest Before truly shines as Incandescent, and Solar weapons in general, are incredibly powerful, and Heal Clip's recent buff only makes the weapon even stronger.

In PvP, Headseeker and a favorable archetype elevate Darkest Before to one of the best Pulse Rifle offerings for Crucible enjoyers. With a time-to-kill of 0.8 seconds and a solid range, Darkest Before is truly a monster in PvP.
