Farming is common for games like Destiny 2, and players can use their Exotics and their crafted weapons to reach the target they seek with ease thanks to the following farming spots.

Destiny 2: Strongest Raid Bosses, Ranked In Terms of Lore

Destiny 2's best raid bosses have some incredible strengths that are only truly displayed in the lore, begging the question of who is the strongest.

There is a farming spot for everyone in Destiny 2. Whether they are New Light players or Guardian veterans with all the expansions and dungeon keys. Plenty of farming spots will provide players with efficient enemies to kill fast, along with all the ammo they need for Special and Heavy weapons.

7 Shuro Chi

The Last Wish’s Second Encounter Has Plenty Of Taken

Destiny 2 Shuro-Chi Fight from the Last Wish Raid

As part of the Forsaken pack, players can enter into The Last Wish, a brilliant and detailed raid in its own right. However, for solo players who aren’t interested in taking on Riven of a Thousand Voices, they can head directly into the second encounter against Shuro Chi. Players can use the Wishing Wall at the start of the Raid to head straight to this checkpoint, where they are able to infinitely farm taken enemies with each wipe.

The Shuro Chi farm is rather effective for weapon kills, as players can eliminate roughly 50 to 80 Taken ads per wipe. The only problem with this farm comes from the fact that players need to place down a Rally Banner to get Heavy and Special ammo, and retyping in the Wish Code each weekly reset can be a chore.

6 Breakneck

Lightfall’s Fourth Campaign Mission Is Filled With Vex

breakneck checkpoint

Whilst it’s not as crowded as Shuro Chi, it certainly is a lot faster. For those with the Lightfall expansion, can head into the repeatable campaign missions and select Breakneck. Reaching the first checkpoint is easy and requires a short run, and then players can repeatedly wipe on this checkpoint without the worry of a weekly reset erasing the checkpoint they have on their character.

Every season in Destiny 2 offers players new content in terms of the ongoing story, as well as experimental modes that create new fun.

Breakneck is fast and efficient, and players can use free Rally Banners per wipe to maximize their Supers, Heavy, and Special ammo. Whilst players might only kill around 40 to 50 enemies per run, it’s very fast, and the free ammo is always a nice bonus.

5 Grasp of Avarice

The Infamous Cosmodrome Loot Cave Is Filled With Hive Enemies

grasp of avarice opening

With the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, players will gain access to the Grasp of Avarice dungeon located in the Eternity tab on destinations. Loading in is simple, as players just need to start the activity and follow the objective where they will be directed to the Cosmodrome’s infamous loot cave. Here, an infinite amount of Hive Acolytes and Thrall will spawn, allowing them to be gunned down endlessly by the Guardian who is farming weapon Catalysts.

The only major problem with Grasp of Avarice is the rate at which these enemies spawn, and the fact that they drop an engram that will explode if not picked up, meaning the loot cave can be filled with explosives that discourage progress. There is also no Rally Banner, so players are going to have to rely on kills to get more Heavy and Special ammo.

4 Dares of Eternity

Xur’s Random Game Show With Near Infinite Ammo

dares of eternity beginning

Dares of Eternity is another farm that also features completionist fun. Players can head to Eternity in the destinations tab and select Dares of Eternity. This game mode is matchmade with 6 Guardians in total, and it’s sort of like Xur’s attempt at a game show, where players will fight random factions in 3 rounds each. Ads don’t stop spawning until the round is complete, and the potential for kills is grand.

The main problem with Dares of Eternity is the fact that other players might compete for the kills, but it’s still a good activity to farm for its casual nature and the rewards players can earn per run, which should take no more than 20 minutes. Secondly, is the Starhorse Favor buff, which will grant players a constant supply of Heavy Ammo.

3 Altars of Sorrow

A Near Endless Public Event With Waves Of Hive

altars of sorrow

Heading to the Moon, players can begin or join an Altars of Sorrow event, which will see a near-infinite amount of Hive enemies spawn from green portals and around the area. Heavy and Special ammo won’t exactly be rare from the abundance of enemies there are to kill, so heading here for some neat rewards isn’t a bad idea, especially when they can farm up plenty of eliminations for their Catalysts.

Destiny 2: Best Raid Exotics, Ranked

Destiny 2's best exotics come through as rewards within their challenging raids.

Whilst Altar of Sorrow can be accessed by everyone, there lies the problem with the activity, as an abundance of Guardians can head here for the reward and the same purpose, meaning players might be fighting and competing for kills of their Catalysts.

2 A Mysterious Disturbance

An Endless Portal Of Hive To Kill

a mysterious disturbance

Within Shadowkeep’s campaign, players can utilize the A Mysterious Disturbance mission to farm a plethora of kills. The problem with this mission lies in the fact that players will have to wait for it to be in the weekly rotation for the repeatably Moon campaign missions, or, for players who have yet to complete the mission for the first time.

Once in the activity, players will want to progress until they have to drain Hive Sigils. Heading to the center of this area, they will be able to endlessly fight waves of Hive Acolytes. Ammo will spawn aplenty due to the abundance of enemies to kill, but players will want to do this solo so that other players do not progress the quest.

1 Ghosts Of The Deep

Ecthar’s Encounter Has Endless Hive To Battle

Destiny 2 Deepsight Node In Ghosts Of The Deep Ecthar Encounter (1)

With the Lightfall dungeon key, players will be able to access the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, which will see them head to Titan to battle against the dreaded Hive forces. One such force can be found in the second encounter, where they will battle against Ecthar and his mighty forces. Luckily, this encounter is reasonably easy once Ecthar is removed from the equation.

Players can get Ecthar to remain in the water for this encounter, leaving them plenty of opportunity to endlessly kill the spawning Hive. If players run out of ammo or want to wipe for a fresh go, then feel free to do so, where they can throw down another Rally Banner. Another problem of this encounter comes from the need to regain this checkpoint each week with no shortcuts.
