Even after completing it the first time, Exotic missions in Destiny 2 are filled with secrets for players to discover. Whether it was uncovering the truth about what happened aboard the Glykon in Presage or discovering the adorable robot dog in Operation: Seraph's Shield, players always have a reason to come back each week to the current Exotic mission.

The recently discovered Avalon mission has a lot of things for players to discover, and most of them can only be obtained once players have acquired Vexcalibur. Here is where Destiny 2 players can find the seven mysteries scattered across Avalon.

The First Mystery

The first Mystery can be found near the start of the mission. At the large gate with the small opening doors, there is a switch that players can jump up to. Activate this switch and then go down toward the channel. Go around and look for the small room blocked off by two purple Vex barriers. These barriers can be bypassed by the guard ability of Vexcalibur. Activate the switch in this room and a chest will appear.

The Second Mystery

The second Mystery is found shortly after the first one. While jumping down toward the next area, players will encounter a green switch. Just after that, players will see a Vex Hobgoblin imprisoned. Look up to see another switch that will free the Hobgoblin. Oddly, this Vex is friendly to players and will teleport away. Upon the Hobgoblin leaving, a chest will appear in its place.

The Third Mystery

The third Mystery can be found soon after the first encounter where Destiny 2 players have to shoot the symbols. Look for a switch on a ledge and activate it. This will cause a terminal to spawn. Look toward the pyramid and jump up the ledges toward a gap.

Behind this wall is a sequence of symbols, just like in the first encounter. If one or more of the symbols is a purple triangle, players will need to use Vexcalibur to shoot and destroy that symbol at the terminal. Once the code is correctly inputted, the third chest will spawn.

The Fourth Mystery

The fourth Mystery isn't far from the third one. Follow the river of Radiolaria to reach a giant chasm. While normally players would go left to progress further, go right instead. Follow the small series of ledges to reach another barrier that can be bypassed by Vexcalibur. Behind the barrier is a red orb that players can pick up. Take the orb and continue onward. Jump all the way down to reach the area where players have to crawl through a narrow space with platforms.

Insert the red orb into the device on the right. A chest will appear along with a portal that allows players to skip the crawling platform section.

The Fifth Mystery

The next mystery can be found after completing the second encounter. Just after going past the wall of pistons, there will be a switch. Activate the switch and then go back through the wall of pistons. There will be another group of Vex that are imprisoned. Use Vexcalibur to enter this room and then activate the switch to free the Vex. A chest will appear when they teleport away.

The Sixth Mystery

The second to last mystery can be found in the last area before fighting Brakion. There are three triangles that can only be destroyed with Vexcalibur. Once all three are destroyed, a chest will appear.

The Seventh Mystery

The final mystery can only be found once players have defeated Brakion. Before looting the chest, jump down to look for a purple triangle under each geyser of Radiolaria. Destroy all three triangles and a portal will appear in the arena where Brakion was destroyed. Use this portal to reach the last chest and see a familiar shape appear above it.
