The release of the Demon's Souls remake has been glorious. New secrets have been discovered and new strategies have been worked out. One of the newest strategies sets players up to be able to kill every boss with a single hit. Well, most bosses at least because the tactic requires players to kill a few bosses.
After all is said and done, players will have a broken game, unlimited levels, and a sword so powerful that the False King will be quivering in his boots. Be prepared for some hard work.
9 Complete The Intro & Create A Character
To start everything off, if a player hasn't completed the introduction of the game, then get to it. When selecting the class for a character, players should choose royalty. One of the big reasons for this is the stats. The Royalty class starts off with good strength, dexterity, and magic. All of these stats are needed for the build that is being created. Once the class is chosen, make sure to pick the Providential Ring as the starting gift. This ring increases item discovery and is needed for part of the creation of the build.
8 Defeat Phalanx & Armor Spider
Easy enough, travel to the Gates of Boletaria and travel through the area until the boss door is unlocked. Once the boss is unlocked, grab some firebombs and destroy it. Next, travel to the Smithing Grounds and deal with the Armor Spider boss. Run up to the boss and find the pillar on the left side next to the cave exit. Use this safe spot to hide and not get hit by any of the attacks. Be sure to grab a few items from these areas. Players will need the Thief Ring and the Kris Blade. As long as players grab each item they pass, these items will be easy to find.
7 Don't Forget To Level
To start off leveling, players should start by increasing their magic. This will increase the power of Soul Arrow which is a spell that the Royalty class starts off with. Players with the deluxe edition items will have an easier time with this. By now, players all players should at least have the souls required to get 18 magic. Once that is achieved, go for strength, dexterity, or faith. Each one of these stats needs to be at 18 to use the weapon that everyone is crafting.
6 Take Down Flamelurker
Flamelurker is the next boss to deal with that resides at the bottom of the large hole after the Armor Spider boss. Head there and take the right path. Once all of the miners are killed, make a few careful jumps and hit the bottom of the hole. Once a player reaches the bottom they can easily make it to the boss door. Taking down this boss is a little more difficult, but luckily there is a way to cheese it.
Lure Flamelurker to the side of the boss arena where there are multiple rib-looking bones sticking out of the ground. Once players lead Flamelurker behind the bones it will get stuck. Go to town on Flamelurker with some magic until it is dead. Take the boss' soul to Blacksmith Ed so that he can craft better weapons.
5 Take The Chieftain Archstone
It's time to hit the Chieftain Archstone. Players will need to muster up their skills and get through each area and defeat each boss. Before that, there are some tips to get through the areas and items that players will need to obtain. Once players reach the second area, head into the massive area fill with poison at the base of the cliff near the entrance. Players will need to search the area for the Broken Sword. Be careful of the invader NPC that wanders that swamp. Equip the Thief Ring here and it will make life easier. This ring will help players avoid most of the enemies leading up to the boss door.
4 Take Down The Bosses
Here are some tips, the first boss, Leechmonger, can be hit from the top platform with magic. Make sure to bring some Fresh Spice to keep the MP bar full. Hitting Leechmonger from the top platform will prevent players from being hit as well. The Dirty Colossus is easy to take down with some Pine Resin. Coat a weapon in fire and go to town on the boss' back. Make sure to dodge whenever it turns around. Last, Maiden Astraea. Garl Vinland will be protecting her but he is easy to parry. Practice the parry game and take him down then talk to Maiden Astraea and she will kill herself once he is dead.
3 Craft Blueblood
Once Maiden Astraea is defeated, players will have the Pureblood Demon Soul. Keep this item and head to Blacksmith Ed and craft Blueblood. This is the heart of the build and the sword that can one-hit each boss. Players will need to bring the Broken Sword from the second area of the Chieftain Archstone to craft it. At this point, players should be able to wield it, but if not, there is still time and more souls to gather. Keep in mind, this sword requires 18 points in dexterity, strength, magic, and faith to wield it. Don't spend more points in any of these because this weapon scales off of luck.
2 Farm A Gold Coin
Remember the Providential Ring? Good. Now is the time to use it. Equip the ring and go farming for Gold Coins. Gold Coins are a new item added in the remake that drop from the Fat Officials. Once Blueblood is crafted, stay in the Smithing Grounds. In this location, there are three Fat Officials that players can easily farm.
The first one is at the top of the elevator that leads to the miners that throw boulders. The second is easily spotted in the room with all the miners. Players will have noticed this Official on their way to the Armor Spider Boss. The third Official is across the bridge. Be careful, this bridge collapses except for on the left side.
1 Become All-Powerful
Once a player has a Gold Coin, head back to the Nexus. Now is the time that we will be leveling up. Thanks to this glitch, player level will be maxed out so it is important to set your stats however you want before performing the glitch. Once stats are set and a player is satisfied, use the gold coin and immediately go into the level up menu. A glitch will happen that causes luck to rise like crazy. Increasing luck in this way will cause it to go up into the thousands. What is even better is that this glitch can be performed multiple times as long as a player has multiple coins. Once the glitch is performed, go crazy and kill all the bosses.
