The Hashira are among the strongest characters in DemonSlayer. They are extremely powerful, and they are capable of fighting against the Twelve Demon Moons. After Rengoku, Tengen Uzui is the latest Hashira to get involved in Demon Slayer. Tengen comes off as a flamboyant man with no skills, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
He is an extremely powerful character, and he is the second strongest Hashira when it comes to physical strength. Tengen Uzui specializes in Sound Breathing, which he created on his own. So far, he has displayed a variety of attacks, which show his strength as a fighter, but which is Tengen Uzui's strongest attack?
7 Kunai Mastery
As a former shinobi, Tengen has shown that he can use kunai masterfully. He can utilize kunai in a variety of ways. He can throw them at his opponents to catch them off guard, or he can use the kunai as a blade to slice objects such as Daki's Obi. Tengen could potentially coat the kunai with Wisteria, which heavily affects a demon's strength in combat.
6 Explosive Bead Attack
Tengen has been shown carrying several beads. These beads are important to his every attack. The purpose of these beads is to cause huge explosions.
Whenever they experience the slightest touch, the beads go off. These beads are special as they've shown to be capable of harming the body of the Upper-Rank demons.
5 Other Attacks
Sound Breathing has a total of five forms and Tengen only used three of them—the first, fourth and fifth. This leaves out the second and third forms of Sound Breathing. The viewers did not get an opportunity to see Tengen Uzui use all the forms, which may come off as disappointing.
However, after the incident where Tengen lost one of his arms, it is highly improbable that the viewers will get a chance to see the remaining forms of Sound Breathing unless there is another user of Sound Breathing. Currently, the viewers will have to be satisfied with just the three forms.
4 Regular Nichirin Attacks
Tengen Uzui uses dual Nichirin cleavers as his main weapons. The blades are ginormous in size, and they can easily slice the head of a demon. When used in conjunction with his incredible speed, Tengen was able to behead Daki, and she did not even realize what had happened. This shows that even regular attacks from Tengen when combined with his speed are enough to get kill someone very easily.
Tengen's speed is astounding even for a Hashira, and it is stated that no Hashira could match him in a foot race. Furthermore, it has been stated that no one managed to survive the attacks from Tengen's blades until his meeting with the Upper Rank 6. When he combines his physical strength with Sound Breathing, it makes his attacks even more powerful. When Tengen was confronted by the Obi demon underground, he was completely fearless, and he sliced all of the Obi carefully so as to not hurt the people that were trapped inside.
3 First Form: Roar
First Form: Roar is one of the many Sound Breathing techniques used by Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District arc. In this particular technique, Uzui lifts his Nichirin swords and then slams them down with excessive force. He combines it with his bombs which results in the creation of an explosion.
This attack deals a lot of damage, and it creates a massive sound that comes across as thunder. Tengen used this technique to get to the location of the Obi where innocent people were being kept. The sound from the attack was enough to scare the Obi demon that was in charge of guarding the trapped people. The mere presence of Tengen was enough for the Obi demon to realize that it was going up against a Hashira.
2 Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes
It is common knowledge that Sound Breathing is one of the strongest Breathing Techniques. Like many of Tengen's techniques, it involves the use of bombs. In this technique, Tengen Uzui holds both of his swords and starts to spin them while throwing bombs at the target.
The conjunction of these two actions allows Tengen to attack the target while defending himself from any incoming attacks. Tengen used this attack when Tanjiro was overwhelmed by Gyutaro.
1 Fifth Form: String Performance
This is the strongest attack that Tengen has used so far in the anime. In this move, he alters the gripping style. He grips one of his blades in an unorthodox manner, and then he begins to spin the other blade by utilizing the chain that holds the blades together.
Again, this technique requires Tengen Uzui to use bombs to increase the impact of his attack even further. The attack causes massive physical damage to their opponent. This attack is the epitome of Sound Breathing, and it is undoubtedly Tengen's trump card.
