SEGA reveals that Daki, the third DLC character for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, is available now across all platforms. Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Character Pass owners have instant access to Daki, but players without the Character Pass may purchase the Daki Character Pack separately.

The latest Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles trailer highlights Daki's hatred for people who denounce demons as she battles Nezuko in her Advanced Demon form. Daki is one of the most powerful antagonists from Demon Slayer's Entertainment District arc, and she doesn't hold any of her demonic powers back in her battles. As shown in the trailer, Daki utilizes her powerful Obi sash to slash and grab opponents. Daki's sash acts as an extension of her body, which means the sash is able to stretch great lengths to channel her immense power.

Daki's viciousness extends to her in-game voice lines, which were voiced by the talented Erica Lindbeck. The new trailer highlights many of these voice lines as Daki battles Nezuko to replicate their scenes from the Demon Slayer anime. Daki's improved speed and reflexes are a combined boon to skilled players in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. The newly added DLC character demonstrates the true extent of her demon arts and rapid combos in the trailer.

Players are able to test out Daki in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles' Versus Mode after purchasing the Daki Character Pack for $4.99 or the Character Pass for $24.99. The new DLC also comes with a set of Daki profile photos and quotes for online play. Those who purchase the Character Pass gain access to all Demon Slayer DLC characters including Tengen Uzui and Nezuko (Advanced Demon Form). Additionally, players gain access to Gyutaro, the final DLC character for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles.

Daki transitioned faithfully from the Demon Slayer anime to Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. CyberConnect2 was able to make the best use of her character and abilities within the game, providing a formidable demon with a fun play style. Entertainment District was among the most well-received of Demon Slayer's story arcs, and Daki's arrival does not appear to disappoint.

Gyutaro, Daki's brother, should prove to be a powerful DLC character in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles as well. Gyutaro is expected to release before the end of December 2022, which means players have roughly two months to prepare for his arrival.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
