Demon Slayer is a show that needs no introduction. This anime has become one of the most popular series of all time, with the incredible work by Ufotable ensuring that this title would become a household name that everyone would look forward to. It's genuinely impressive just how popular Demon Slayer has become, given the fact that this series isn't particularly innovative and doesn't really break any new ground when it comes to the shonen genre. However, the influence of Japanese mythology coupled with a bevy of amazing action sequences cemented this show's legendary status for good.

There are several Breathing Styles that are used by swordsmen in the series to enhance their skills, with the most powerful user of each style becoming a legendary Hashira. Given how strong the demons are in this series, it's only a given that some of these bloodthirsty creatures will require the strongest warriors around so that they can be stopped in their tracks without obliterating their opposition. While the members of the Upper Rank Kizuki are still quite tough to handle, the Hashira have shown that they're more than capable of standing their ground against these powerful demons... even if the task is anything but simple.

During the Entertainment District arc, viewers get to hang out with the charismatic Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui. He's pretty flamboyant, with his outfit being quite stylized as well. The manner in which he's introduced is pretty odd as well, with many viewers wondering just how his relationship with his multiple wives actually works out. However, despite seeming like a skirt chaser, Tengen shows that he's no slouch in battle and uses his powerful Sound Breathing techniques to obliterate his opponents. Here are all the techniques from this Breathing Style and how they work.

5 The Second And Third Forms Are Unknown

Before getting into the moves of Sound Breathing, there's one important thing that needs to be clarified. For the most part, this move is touted to have five forms, all of which are pretty powerful in their own right and can take out most lesser enemies without too much effort. However, while Tengen uses Sound Breathing all the way to its Fifth Form, one thing that most fans would've noticed is that the Second and Third Forms are never shown in the series, which is a shame.

After all, Sound Breathing is clearly not going to come back anytime soon, with Tengen retiring from the responsibilities of a Hashira to spend more time with his wives instead. It's a shame, since many people would've liked to see more techniques from this Breathing Style. As things stand, Sound Breathing is easily one of the most under-represented ones in the entire series, and fans can only wonder what the unknown forms are able to accomplish.

4 First Form: Roar

The First Form of any Breathing Style is considered to be the weakest of the bunch, being nothing more than a glorified regular slash that can take out lesser opponents in one fell swoop. However, any demon who has decent durability can tank a hit or two from these moves as long as they evade a mortal hit and fall back to recover after facing the brunt of said attack. However, viewers who have seen the First Form: Roar in action know just how powerful this technique really is.

This move deals a ton of damage, with most demons being taken out by the sheer explosive force behind this move... quite literally! It's carried out with twin swords, with the major part of this technique coming from a powerful downward slash that the user puts all their strength into. What makes this technique deadly is the bombs that are used in conjunction with this move, increasing the damage of this Form and obliterating most lesser opponents without too many problems.

3 Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes

A lot of attacks in Demon Slayer double up as both offensive and defensive moves, which can be pretty useful in their own right. Sound Breathing is no exception to this golden rule, and the Fourth Form displays just how flashy yet damaging this Breathing Style can be if users maximize the damage potential of their techniques.

Constant Resounding Slashes involves the user spinning around with their dual blades while also throwing bombs all around to create massive explosions that technically defend the user from attacks. It's a great move to use if the user is surrounded and needs to avoid taking any damage whatsoever.

2 Fifth Form: String Performance

If it wasn't clear by now, Sound Breathing uses bombs in combination with regular sword attacks, making for a flashy and damaging technique that certainly does justice to the name of this Breathing Style. No technique personifies just how effective Sound Breathing can really be more than the Fifth Form, which uses two connected blades to wreak absolute havoc.

The user holds one blade in a unique grip that allows them to spin the other sword they have, making it imperative that both weapons are connected. This turns the user into a spinning whirlwind of death, with the bombs used in this technique adding to the damage potential of this move. It's Tengen's ultimate move that he uses to great effect against extremely strong and challenging opponents.
