In the ever-repeating world of Deathloop, players are tasked with becoming the ultimate killing machine that can successfully kill all eight Visionaries in one day. While this is their main objective, it's easy to slip into the mindset of the game's characters and feel a twinge of madness at repeating the same day over and over - which makes the occasional break to hunt for an achievement or trophy worthwhile.

One such trophy is Violent Delights, tasking players with killing Charlie Montague and Fia Zborowska with a single bullet. The freedom given to players in immersive sims like Deathloop and Arkane Studios' other titles make an achievement like this a lot of fun, as there are several potential ways to go about it - the only thing holding players back is their own imaginations.

Deathloop throws players into a time-altering action-adventure. Here are some other titles that take a similar approach to their mechanics.

How To Unlock the Violent Delights Trophy / Achievement

Unlike some of Deathloop's other unlockable achievements, the easiest strategy for Violent Delights requires players to complete several steps before it becomes available. Luckily, these are part of the game's main story and can be done within a few short loops. Players are rewarded for their efforts by finding Charlie and Fia in proximity with no other enemies around.

  1. Find evidence of Charlie and Fia's affair
    • This can be found by visiting and thoroughly exploring either visionary's 'main base'
    • Charlie's is in Updaam at Noon, and Fia's is in Fristad Rock at Noon.
  2. Solve Fia's randomized pictogram puzzle to get a bunker's access code
  3. Use the code on the bunker in Fristad Rock in the Afternoon.
    • The bunker can be found on the far-right side of the area.

Deathloop: How To Solve The Data Cassette Puzzle

Deathloop's Data Cassette Puzzle can be tricky to solve. This guide should make things much easier for players.

Once they're inside the bunker with a totally oblivious Charlie and Fia, players have several options for getting this trophy. Even if they get spotted or miss a headshot, there's no need to re-do a full loop; quitting to the main menu and resuming the game will restart the level for another quick attempt. The Violent Delights trophy can then be unlocked in ways including but not limited to:

  • Linking Charlie and Fia with the Nexus slab, and killing one of them with a headshot
  • Linking Charlie and Fia with the Nexus slab, and killing one of them with a machete
  • Flooding the bunker without being noticed
    • The Shift slab and double jump are recommended for getting out quickly afterward!
  • Using a high-powered weapon with the Perforator trinket and lining both characters up
    • Using the Aether slab is recommended for staying stealthy while close.

It should be noted that killing Charlie and Fia separately or landing any non-fatal shots will void this trophy and require another attempt. Once they're both killed with a single bullet, though, the trophy will unlock and their various trinkets and slab upgrades will be ready for the player to collect.

Deathloop is available now on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X / S.
