While players are effectively tasked with becoming a god of endless death in Arkane Studios' Deathloop, they'll see themselves die plenty of times. Death is unavoidable and can often be hilarious, especially when the game's online player versus player mode brings a healthy dose of chaos into the mix.
For every creative way the player kills an enemy, one optional challenge wants them to die in an equally creative way. Appropriately named The Spice Of Life, this trophy / achievement has a list of deaths for players to explore. It's a surprisingly fun and challenging one to unlock, and a nice break from living the same day over and over - the bad guys will probably appreciate a few days of peace in their otherwise incredibly violent time loop.

How To Unlock The Spice Of Life Achievement
Like many of Deathloop's other achievements, The Spice Of Life forces players to complete multiple loops. Colt can die up to three times in each level, however, so strategic players can strike a few specific deaths off their list per loop. The table below lists the ten ways players must die with some recommended strategies, but it should be noted that most deaths can be achieved in multiple locations.

The most complicated death in the list is tied to being 'fried by a rocket', as unlike the others, it has several steps to complete. See the steps below for help reaching this unusual death.
- Break into the Condition Detachment game near Updaam at Noon
- Kill all the enemies inside.
- Bring three batteries to the rocket controls on the second-top floor
- Don't throw them, or they'll explode - press the reload button to drop them safely.
- The first can be found in a socket left of the gas pit, powering a decoration.
- After reaching the 'planet surface' floor, the second can be found near a decoration in front of the stairs.
- The third can be found in a closet on the right side of 2-Bit's room.
- With each battery inserted, enter 2-Bit's room and tell him to activate the rocket.
- Run to the top floor and jump into its flames.
No matter the order they approached the deaths in, The Spice Of Life trophy / achievement will finally unlock when players have died in the tenth unique way.
