Deadpool & Wolverine has sparked intense excitement months before its release, and fans have been talking about its "mind-blowing" post-credit scene, which many speculate involves Tobey Maguire.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's anticipated tandem as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively, will soon be witnessed by MCU fans when their superhero flick Deadpool & Wolverine hits the big screen in three months. Both have gained a cult following for portraying the Merc with a Mouth and Logan. However, aside from the pair, more actors are joining the duo to add fun to their adventure, like Jennifer Garner (Elektra). There are also rumors that the Fantastic Four stars Jessica Alba and Chris Evans will join and reprise their roles as Invisible Woman and Human Torch, respectively. But the recent talks about Deadpool & Wolverine are focused on the post-credits scene, which many believe involves Maguire, who played the titular character Spider-Man in three movies and reprised the role in Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.

One scooper, MyTimeToShineHellow, took to X and hinted that the post-credit of Deadpool & Wolverine was "so mind-blowing." The insider added that he couldn't believe how the production was able to pull it off without anyone knowing it. Rob Liefeld, the American comic book creator who created Deadpool's character, seemingly confirmed the tweet by writing, "He's ain't lying to you!" Reddit fans immediately discussed and shared their theory about the much-talked post-credit scene in Deadpool & Wolverine, and many are convinced that it involved Maguire.

Exciting Fan Theory For Deadpool & Wolverine's Post-Credit Scene

The fan theory, as discussed in this Reddit thread, suggests that Deadpool and Wolverine will end up in Joe's Pizza. The pizzeria is located in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. It was where Peter Parker (Maguire) worked as a delivery boy in the 2004 movie Spider-Man 2. However, Mr. Aziz (Aasif Mandvi) fired him because he was late in delivering pizzas, and the store promised a 29-minute guarantee to its customers. Many fans are convinced that the post-credit will feature the famous pizzeria because a bunch of scoopers also mentioned Joe's Pizza last year, hinting that it will potentially be featured again in MCU. Also, it will not be complete if the place will be featured without Maguire.

Some also suggested the possibility of the post-credit featuring Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man. Many want to see Tony Stark with Wolverine and Deadpool. Also, there are rumors that RDJ is returning to the MCU, and some fans speculate they are alluding to this particular scene.

The possibility of Maguire being featured in the Deadpool 3 post-credit is not far-fetched, especially since there are rumors that director Sam Raimi and Maguire will be reuniting for Spider-Man 4. However, fans still need to take this with a grain of salt because their fourth reunion is still not confirmed. Raimi previously addressed the rumored reunion project with Maguire and he said that he was not working on it. However, he also didn't shut down the possibility of it happening in the future.

Iron Man being featured in the post-credits is not unlikely, either. Marvel doesn't want to take risks when it comes to its upcoming movies after Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels underperformed at the box office. Iron Man is undoubtedly a force to reckon with when it comes to the MCU. Also, earlier this month, RDJ did not bat an eye when asked if he would return to the franchise. He told Esquire he would "happily" return and don his superhero suit again because the role is "too integral a part of my DNA." However, Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, considered Downey Jr.'s exit perfect, and he previously said that they wanted to leave it as is. Thus, neither RDJ's Iron Man or Maguire's Spider-Man is confirmed, but it would be a treat to see them in Deadpool 3.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 26, 2024.
