When it was announced that Hugh Jackman would return to the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3, fans started to speculate who else may appear in the film. Last Friday, The DisInsider uploaded a video to YouTube about which characters will appear in Deadpool 3. One of those characters will be Dazzler played by Swift. Dazzler is a popular singer who is also a mutant and an occasional member of The X-Men with the power to convert sound and project light. Dazzler made her first and only live-action appearance in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, played by Halston Sage. At first glance, Swift as Dazzler seems strange and unlikely, but there is some evidence to back up this rumor.
Swift has appeared in multiple feature films such as Cats (2019) and Amsterdam, and Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively are good friends with Swift. Some of Swift's fans thought Reynolds had teased her role in the third Deadpool film when he used the same location as her All Too Well: The Short Film to film his reveal that Jackman will be in the movie. Reynolds denied this rumor but did say that he wants Swift in Deadpool 3, saying, “I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius.”
