For many anime fans, a character's power is their defining trait, and for this reason, many authors make sure to make their characters extremely strong. These characters have better physical attributes than the rest, though still have to work hard to defeat their enemies.
However, there are some anime characters who are bestowed with unique powers that allow them to bring an end to their opponents without even lifting a finger. One such power is being able to kill their target just by just glancing at them.
8 Itachi Uchiha (Naruto)
Itachi Uchiha is one of the most famous anime characters in the world. He was an important side character in the Naruto series, and his actions greatly affected the story. Itachi was a remarkable ninja with a special aptitude for dojutsu. He also had the Mangekyou Sharingan, which granted two very special abilities.
One was Tsukuyomi, a potent genjutsu that could one-shot an opponent, and the second was Amaterasu, which brought forth black flames that couldn't be exhausted until they incinerated the target. Either of the two abilities was sufficient for Itachi to kill his opponent with just a look.
7 Lelouch VI Britannia (Code Geass)
Lelouch VI Britannia is the main protagonist of Code Geass. From a young age, Lelouch showed a high level of intellect, which separated him from his peers. He harbored a great deal of hatred toward the Britannia empire, but due to his lack of power, he couldn't do anything about it.
However, things changed when C.C. gave Lelouch the Geass, which was just the thing he needed to take down the corrupt empire. Lelouch's Geass allowed him to order a person to execute one command. He could tell a person to do anything, and they would oblige as long as it was within their physical limitations. Potentially, Lelouch could order his opponent to kill themselves.

Evergreen is a talented mage who is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild. She is also the only female member of the Thunder God Tribe. Evergreen has a special power in her eyes known as "Stone Eyes." It allows her to turn any human to stone if they make eye contact with her.
Once a person has been transformed into stone, they will gradually turn into dust. Evergreen can undo the petrification, but there are other ways to bypass this ability. For the magic to work, the target's eyes must meet Evergreen's, and it won't work if the target is wearing glasses.
5 Ryner Lute (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes)
Ryner Lute is the main protagonist of The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. He was burdened with an immeasurable amount of power, and it led to people calling him a monster. Ryner Lute possesses the Alpha Stigma, a curse passed on to humans since ancient times. The curse allows Ryner to copy any magic that is used against him.
Ryner's Alpha Stigma is boosted further by the presence of the Dark God inside him. When the entity takes control of Ryner's body, he is able to destroy anything that he sets his sight on. This was evident when he took down multiple soldiers at once just by using his eyes.
4 Gennosuke Koga (Basilisk)
Gennosuke Koga was named the heir to Koga Manjidani. He was handpicked by his grandfather along with ten other ninjas to represent Koga in their feud against Iga Tsubagakure. Gennosuke was a pragmatic individual, who focused on the future and considered chasing the past to be futile.
Gennosuke was blessed with a special visual ability that enabled him to reverse another person's intent to kill. This ability came in handy, especially during fights, as Gennosuke could simply turn his opponent's hostility against them. Gennosuke's uncle, Hyoma, could also use this ability but lacked control over it.
3 Ulla Euleus Hecmatika (Sunday Without God)
Ulla Euleus Hecmatika is a princess of the infamous Ortus, a place that is known to harbor thousands of dead people. Due to her mother's dying wish, Ulla gained the power to kill anyone by staring at them.
This ability makes her extremely dangerous, so she has to be cautious at all times. Despite having such an immensely powerful ability, Ulla comes off as a kind and cheerful person. She tries her best to not let her strength get to her head.
2 Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)
Sasuke Uchiha is known as the "Shadow Hokage" because of his role in protecting the Hidden Leaf from any external threats. He is considered the only ninja capable of matching Naruto's power. Sasuke has many different kinds of weapons in his arsenal.
He possesses the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Both of these eyes allow him to cause widespread destruction. Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan lets him use Amaterasu, the same black flames that were used by his brother. Sasuke's Rinnegan genjutsu can potentially kill a person by causing them a great deal of mental trauma.

Rider is also known as Medusa, and she is one of the main characters in the Fate/stay night series. She served Sakura Matou during the fifth Holy Grail War, and then she was reassigned to Shinji.
Medusa possesses Cybele, which are special eyes that cannot be recreated by magic. With the help of Cybele, Medusa can petrify any character within her range. This ability makes Medusa a dangerous opponent, and only those who have a high rank are strong enough to resist her power.
