More Dead Cells content is on the way. The popular roguelike action-platformer is set to receive more DLC in 2021. This will be the second piece of paid DLC for Dead Cells.

Earlier this year in January, Dead Cells received its Bad Seed DLC. The newest DLC is called Fatal Falls, and Dead Cells developer Motion Twin released a teaser trailer announcing the content.

The DLC will be adding two new biomes, The Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores. Both are shown in the trailer, and the style and design add additional beautiful atmosphere to the game. The areas are both new mid-game areas that run alongside Sale Village, Clock Tower, and Time Keeper. Players will now have more options with each run, and the new areas add more difficulty and exploration, something that Dead Cells fans should be happy with.

According to Motion Twin, the paid DLC will also include tons of additional content, including a fresh boss fight. Dead Cells is one of the hardest video games out there, so there is little doubt that the new content will bring more challenge to the roguelike. For those who enjoyed the Bad Seed DLC earlier in the year, the amount of content being provided in Fatal Falls should feel similar.

The Fatal Falls DLC will cost just $4.99, adding value to one of the more beloved indies of the past few years. This announcement comes fresh off of Motion Twins having revealed that Dead Cells has sold over 3.5 million copies, a wonderful milestone.

Dead Cells is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
