The Dead by Daylight community has plenty to debate about the game, whether it's arguments about which killers are broken or the strength level of a communicating 4-man survivor team. With that said, there are many players who choose to show their passion for the game through other avenues like cosplay or fan art. Although he's not the most popular Dead by Daylight killer, The Trickster is flashy with an easily recognizable look, and one fan has really nailed his style in a recent cosplay.

The Trickster (Ji-Woon Hak) was first introduced into Dead by Daylight in the Chapter 19 DLC called All-Kill. Since March 30 of this year, he has been terrorizing survivors with his throwing knives and polished head-smasher. Garbed with a K-Pop-inspired aesthetic, his backstory tells a tale of murder and music until he was brought by The Fog to do his dirty work on survivors. There's already loads of Trickster fan art and other inspired pieces about the K-Pop killer, and now Reddit member Typical-Leave6926 has added another cosplay for fans to admire.

According to Typical-Leave6926, this cosplay is entirely self-produced, though they did work on the jacket with a friend. The Trickster's classic look features purple hair and a bloodstained yellow/orange jacket, but this look opts for more pastel colors. Typical-Leave's Trickster look really contrasts the blood spatter carnage with the vanity of the character, and the result is an excellent representation of one of the most human-like killers in Dead by Daylight.

Several admirers of the cosplay have commented on how much the creator looks like The Trickster to begin with. Others have applauded the creator's poses and the style of the pictures, believing them to be the kind The Trickster would take of himself. His knives aren't shown in these photos, but they're probably just hiding inside his jacket waiting to be tossed out. The Trickster's Showstopper ability involves him chucking a flurry of knives at unfortunate survivors, and even though it's one of the weaker powers in the game, it can still be dangerous in the right hands.

Dead by Daylight's fan base continues to grow, and the game is still getting content updates with new maps and new killers/survivors. The Trickster was the twenty-third killer added to the game, followed most recently by Nemesis T-Type as part of the game's Resident Evil crossover. Developer Behaviour Interactive has also promised some balance changes will be coming to Dead by Daylight in the near future, and fans of The Trickster are hoping he will get some buffs to make him a more competitive pick.

Dead by Daylight is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
