Behaviour Interactive, developer of Dead by Daylight, revealed the perks in the upcoming crossover with popular Netflix show Stranger Things. The developer spilled the details on its Twitch channel.

Dead by Daylight developers announced the Stranger Things crossover last week with a teaser trailer. The crossover event will add Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, two of the show's characters, as new survivors. The game will also add the first season's big bad The Demogorgon as a new killer. On top of that, fans who have always wanted to visit Hawkins Lab will get a chance as it will also make its way into the game.

When the announcement came last week, Behaviour didn't provide many details about the characters' and enemy's perks and abilities, but now Dead by Daylight fans can get an idea of what to expect.

First up, Steve Harrington will feature the perks Babysitter, Camaraderie, and Second Wind. Babysitter lets Steve unhook survivors without them leaving a blood trail or scratch marks. It also allows Steve and the Killer to see each other's aura for a short time. Camaraderie pauses the Struggle Phase timer briefly if another Survivor gets close. For Second Wind, if Steve heals a Survivor, this perk activates. It gives him the ability to self-heal after getting unhooked as long as he remains outside of the terror radius. The perk deactivates when he fully heals.

Nancy Wheeler will receive the perks Better Together, Fixated, and Inner Strength. Better Together shows the aura of a generator getting repaired to other Survivors in range. If, while repairing a generator, the Killer takes the life of another Survivor, Nancy will see the auras of both that Survivors and the Killer. Fixated lets Nancy see her scratch marks at all times. It also allows her to walk faster when fully healed. Inner Strength activates when Nancy cleanses a totem and gives her the ability to set-heal while in a Locker.

Finally, the Demogorgon will receive the perks Surge, Cruel Limits, and Mindbreaker. Surge blows up any generator in range when the Killer takes down a Survivor. The generator also becomes regressed instantly. Cruel Limits blocks vaulting for all Survivors in range of a generator when it gets fixed. Mindbreaker add an Exhaustion Status effect to Survivors while they repair a generator. The effect pauses during the actual repairing but starts over at the end of a repair action.

Dead by Daylight has had some great crossover support. Last year, Ghost Face from Scream was added as a Killer. The game has also added Mike Meyers in the past. However, Stranger Things brings a more modern horror property to the mix.

These days, it seems everyone has jumped on the Stranger Things bandwagon. The show has a huge following on Netflix, and even Fortnite got a Stranger Things crossover this year. Hopefully Dead by Daylight fans will enjoy running for their lives through Hawkins Lab next month.

Dead by Daylight is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Switch version will launch on September 24 and a mobile version is also in development.
