In a recent interview, Mathieu Cote and Alexandre Rogaume of Behavior Interactive, the developer behind Dead by Daylight, stated the studio's intent to release Chapters for the game's mobile port, Dead by Daylight Mobile, at the same time they come to consoles and PC.
A Chapter in Dead by Daylight is defined as adding both a new Killer and a new Survivor to the game. Since Cote specified that Behavior interactive intends to release larger content updates together, what this means for smaller additions to the game like Paragraphs, which add either a Killer or Survivor, is unknown.
Before this can be done however, Behavior Interactive is working on adding content to Dead by Daylight Mobile which is already part of the game on consoles and PC. For example, several of the newer Killers added to Dead by Daylight are in the process of being added to the game's mobile release. Notably, since several of Dead by Daylight's expansions are based off characters and places from other intellectual properties, Behavior Interactive is working on obtaining licenses to add this content to Mobile.
Considering updates were originally delayed between platforms when Dead by Daylight was ported to consoles, it's not altogether unexpected that this would also be the case for the mobile release. Thankfully, this previous experience should help Behavior Interactive with catching Dead by Daylight Mobile up with the original game.
Dead by Daylight Mobile is currently available on Android and iOS devices.
