Let's face it --in the early hours of Dragon's Dogma 2, dealing with your stamina level can be quite a nuisance. I chose the Fighter Vocation for my character, and whenever I'm in combat or even just trying to get to the next destination, they constantly need to take a breather. Using skills in battle and sprinting uses up stamina, so trying to increase the stat should be any player's priority if they want to continue performing actions in and out of the battlefield.

In this guide, we'll list all the different ways we've discovered that will help increase that precious Stamina stat in Dragon's Dogma 2.

It's worth noting that your stamina will gradually increase as you level up, so we won't be mentioning that method in the round-up below.

Players have the option to change their vocation, or character class, in Dragon's Dogma 2. Here is what you need to know in order to make that choice.

How to Increase Stamina in Dragon's Dogma 2

Rings

The Arisened can equip up to two rings, one for each hand, in Dragon's Dogma 2. Fortunately, some of these Rings can increase Stamina, making it easier for your character to sprint longer and perform combat actions. Of course, you can always have one Ring for Stamina and another that increases HP or attack power or something, but the choice is up to you.

Here are some Rings that are the best for dealing with Stamina (and where to find them):

Any Rings related to carrying weight will also indirectly help with Stamina. The more space you have on your person, the longer your stamina will last.

Golden Trove Beetles

The Golden Trove Beetles are scattered about Dragon's Dogma 2 's world, mostly on trees and the ground. They have fixed locations, and consuming one will increase your carry weight by 0.15 kg.

The Arisen's main pawn will also receive the effect. It may not sound like a lot, but if you keep collecting these, you can carry more stuff, and that's going to help keep stamina in good form.

Vocation Augments and Skills

Of course, due to the nature of each Vocation, some are going to have more Stamina-friendly skills than others. For example, the Archer Vocation has the Rank 4 Augment called Endurance, which increases your maximum stamina. The Rank 9 Augment for Mystic Spearhand, Athleticism, reduces Stamina while dashing. We'll list some other Stamina-related skills and augments below:

  • Mage Weapon Skill (Celestial Paea) - Summons a wave of holy light that hastens both the Stamina recovery and speed of allies who touch it, while reducing damage taken.
  • Mage Rank 9 Augment (Exaltation) - Augments your Stamina recovery speed.
  • Mystic Spearhand Weapon Skills - Rank 3 (Thef's Hond) - Saps the target's vitality and grants it to the user in the form of Stamina.
  • Sorceror Core Skill - Rank 1 (Galvanize) - Rapidly recovers Stamina through single-minded focus. Can be employed while moving, but with reduced efficacy.

Weight

We sort of mentioned this before, but just be wary of the amount of stuff your character has in their inventory. You can always offboard heavy items like Camping Kits to your Pawns, sell items you don't need anymore, or store items for later. The more stuff you have, the less able-bodied you are in combat.

Stamina Items

There are also going to be tons of consumable Stamina-healing items you can find in the overworld, like Harspud and Roborants. These are fairly common items that most people will have no problems accumulating quite a bit on their adventure.
