The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is the creepy new game from the studio that created Until Dawn. During the five-hour playthrough of Little Hope, players will come across photos that can be collected to finish the photo-finding achievements.
In Little Hope, there are 13 total framed photos that players can find. There are six white-framed and six black-framed photos that all trigger a premonition. The 13th photo has a golden frame, and it is a secret teaser for the next installment in The Dark Pictures series called The House of Ashes. Getting all of these framed photos unlocks A Complete Picture trophy or achievement.
The White-Framed Premonition Photos
The photos are hidden in plain sight, so players will have to keep an eye out for the 13 photos. Once a player picks up a picture, a creepy Little Hope premonition will trigger, giving players a hint of what is to come.
- White Frame 1: Deadly Omen - After Taylor opens the gate for Daniel and Angela, head left down past the chain-link fence and look for a truck. Inside of the bed is the first photo. The premonition that plays will probably remind fans of previous Supermassive titles.
- White Frame 2: Mercy - Facing the police station, right before Andrew throws a rock at the window, look to the right for a wire fence. Find the barrels, and look for a framed photo on top of one of the barrels.
- White Frame 3: Ritual Blade - After the group is separated, players will follow Daniel and Taylor. Pick the stairwell instead of the dumpster, and go through the room at the top of the stairs. In the hallway, there will be a hole in the floor. Don't drop down just yet though; make sure search the room to the right and grab the photo on the shelf.
- White Frame 4: Shackled - While controlling John after the police station, walk up to the house and search the porch for this framed photo, then watch the creepy, motion-captured premonition that is smoother in Little Hope.
- White Frame 5: Exorcism - While hiding in the church, as Taylor, look at the entrance. Next to the doorway is a table with another photo on it.
- White Frame 6: Demon at the Door - At the Historic Restoration site, follow the left path to a picnic area. One of the picnic tables has the last white-framed photo.
Once players have all six of the white-framed premonition photos, they will unlock the Glimmer of Hope trophy or achievement. Here's a good visual aid for those who need more detail.
The Black-Framed Premonition Photos
- Black Frame 1: Familiars - After the Black Cat Bar, head forward to the fenced-off picnic area with picnic tables. The furthest table to the back right and look on the table.
- Black Frame 2: Human Sacrifice - As Angela for the first time, look to the left and follow the driveway. There's an old-timey looking house there. On the side of the house is a photo on a barrel.
- Black Frame 3: Like a Stone - When transported back in time to 1692, head out of the playground and look for a giant boulder. Next to it is a table with a framed photo on it.
- Black Frame 4: Dark Magic - This photo is in the entranceway of the museum as Daniel and Taylor after they are reunited. Be ready for some of Little Hope's improved quick-time events.
- Black Frame 5: Voodoo Doll - After the museum, as Taylor, head up the road to the picnic tables on the left. There will be another photo on one of the benches.
- Black Frame 6: Pressed Into Silence - At the factory as John, look next to the lighted green doors. There will be the final black-framed photo on a box next to that entrance.
Once players collect all of the black-framed photos in The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, they will earn the trophy or achievement called Deathly Visions.
The Final Photo
The gold-framed photo is in the final section of the game as players take control of Andrew. After entering the burned-down house, look to the right. There will be a gold-framed photo called Rope, and a truly terrifying premonition trailer for the next game will play. If players have collected all 13 photos by this time, they will earn the A Complete Picture achievement or trophy.
