Dark and Darker: Barracks Location
Players who are looking for the Barracks should focus on completing adventures that take place in the Ruins of Forgotten Castle. Indeed, joining a match when that map is active will give fans of dungeon crawlers access to the Howling Crypts dungeon, and the Barracks location can be found within it.
That said, there are six iterations of the Howling Crypts dungeon, and the Barracks location appears in only four of them. The following links lead to images of the layouts that contain the Barracks, and players can use them to confirm that they are in a dungeon that is capable of facilitating the completion of the Missing Maps quest:
Once a player has confirmed that they are in a suitable iteration of the Howling Crypts, they must focus on reaching the pair of rooms that are depicted in the image that is below. For full clarity, those rooms appear in the bottom-left quadrant of Howling Cypts 1 and 2, the bottom-right quadrant of Howling Crypts 3, and the top-right quadrant of Howling Crypts 4.
To "explore" the Barracks, fans of extraction games must simply take a few steps within the indicated rooms, and it is recommended that they take the time to visit both of them. Indeed, while it seems that entering just one of the rooms is enough to fulfill the Missing Map quest's requirement, visiting both is guaranteed to do so.
After passing through both of the Barracks rooms, players should use one of Dark and Darker's extraction points to escape the Howling Crypts and finally complete Missing Map. Fortunately, a stair escape always appears in the more angular of the two rooms, making it quite easy to safely extract.
