Daredevil: Born Again is still over a year away, so it will be a while before fans get a chance to see the long-awaited return of the crime fighter, but that hasn't stopped Vincent D'Onofrio from teasing what's to come from Kingpin.

Daredevil was one of Marvel's prominent television series on Netflix, all of which focused on "street-level" heroes. Once the movies started to feel separated from the television series, fans were worried that they would never be able to see the two sides share the screen. Fortunately, fans saw Charlie Cox return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it was only the beginning.

Now that fans have both actors returning, D'Onofrio reposted an important moment from the Daredevil series that shows Kingpin in the back of a police car. During this scene, Kingpin gives a very metaphorical monologue in which he realizes that he's not the good Samaritan he thought he would be but the embodiment of "ill intent." This scene was right before he escapes, so it could also be a metaphor on the actor's side implying that Kingpin is about to bring fury when he makes his return to the MCU. Set photos have revealed Kingpin's new look in the upcoming Echo series.

Daredevil is also set to return in that series and Spider-Man: Freshman Year, but only time will tell what becomes of it. One thing many fans are hoping for is a Spider-Man and Daredevil team-up against Kingpin in the live-action film, as it would be the perfect pairing to emulate what happened in the comic books. Still, no word yet on what will become of the other Defenders, but many would love to see the return of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, and The Punisher.

Hopefully, both fans and talent get what they're looking for, as Marvel has a pool of talent that has yet to be fully utilized. Many fans are hoping to see the MCU develop into the live-action version of the comic books, which means the inclusion of the X-Men as well. Many would love to see the X-Men interact with Marvel's heavy hitters, but it's looking like the X-Men may have their own saga.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to be released on Disney Plus in the spring of 2024.
