Both beloved characters appeared in the pilot episode of Echo but were still not seen together.

Fans can finally see the reunion of the long-time adversaries in Daredevil: Born Again set photos recently leaked on Twitter via @OT_Tristan. The series of photos depicts a scene filmed inside a café featuring Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. Fans see Fisk get up from his table and approach Murdock's, sitting across from him. The serious look on both actors' faces suggests high tensions, although they both seem to be keeping cool. Daredevil: Born Again was one of the first series to be given the new MCU overhaul, so fans are unsure of the tonal direction. It's also unclear in the photos if this was a planned or surprise meetup between the two characters. However, one commenter wrote, "This scene is about to go so hard."

While D'Onofrio is clearly in the role of Fisk, there is some debate about the man sitting across from him as Daredevil. One fan posted a cropped photo adding, "who tf is this," about the man across from D'Onofrio. Whether the actor in the photo is a double standing in for Cox during D'Onofrio's coverage is up for debate, but it's clear that this will ultimately be a big scene between Fisk and Murdock.

Previously leaked Daredevil: Born Again photos of a prop newspaper and confirmation from D'Onofrio revealed that Kingpin's storyline revolves around his mayoral campaign, pointing towards the threat of a major government takeover in New York. In an interview with Screen Rant, D'Onofrio stated, "I think the idea of Fisk as mayor is a big idea and the corruption, of course, comes to mind." The Kingpin-as-mayor storyline also suggests that Daredevil:Born Again will be based on the Devil's Reign comic from Marvel.

Speculation aside, fans have a lot to be excited about, including the possible return of Jessica Jones. The long-awaited reunion of the Hell's Kitchen rivals has been confirmed, thanks to the leaked set photos of Daredevil: Born Again.

Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney Plus in 2025.
