Like many MMO titles, Destiny 2 keeps its players occupied through daily and weekly tasks that are sure to interest the player. Players have put at least a couple of hours into the game each day in order to not only increase their light level but also improve their ranking on the season pass. With so many things to do, these are the most important things players should consider doing daily.

8 Play Any Unfinished Expansions

Part of the charm with Destiny 2 is the different expansions that have been released in order to progress the story of the first-person shooter through different arcs. In the past the expansion's campaigns have become unavailable for the player to experience due to the timeline of Destiny moving on.

Due to this, players that have purchased the DLCs such as Witch Queen or Lightfall should consider chipping away at the main campaign of the game each time they load up destiny. Doing this alongside their others tasks will not only unlock further endgame content but also allow them to experience the in depth story of the game.

7 Take Part In A Couple Games Of Crucible Or Gambit

Besides the PvE side pf the game that has the player exploring planets such as Earth or Neptune, players that are looking for something a little more competitive should look no further than Crucible or Gambit. Each week a specific game mode rotates in Crucible however apart from this, players are free to play the usual Control or Clash.

The more rounds of PvP the player takes part in the more likely they are to unlock Engrams that will reward them with new weapons and armor from either Shaxx or the Drifter.

6 Attempt To Increase Reputation In New Areas

As new areas unlock alongside completing the usual public events and patrols, players can work towards increasing their reputation with the vendor that works on that planet. Be it Nimbus in Neomuna or Fynch on Savathun's Throne World these vendors can provide resources as well as gear for the player to use along as they compete the task for them.

The higher the reputation the better the rewards for players as it unlocks ways for them to find collectibles as well as eventually unlocking better rewards in the activities around the location.

5 Experiment And Put Together New Builds

Since the Lightfall expansion released, players have finally been able to create and then save load outs onto their characters. This has made creating new builds a lot easier for both veteran and beginner players, as well as making the switch between them a lot smoother.

Each day players are likely to unlock new pieces of gear or work on their subclasses which can then be shaped into entirely new builds. With ten slots to use for load outs there is plenty of space to try new things or replace old ones.

4 Work Towards Threader Quests

As Destiny 2 has grown so has the customization options available to players. Transmog is a large part of countless MMOs as well as other titles and now Destiny 2 is no different, though to purchase the armor pieces needed players require the resource known as Synthweave.

In order to get this material players will need to complete the bounties provided by Ada-1 that run across the different activities players can get involved in throughout the game. Completing these bounties don't have a time limit though players may wish to dedicate a day to getting some of them done.

3 Spend Some Time In The Vanguard Playlist

For fans of Destiny 2 that have no interest in the PvP of the game, they can still enjoy the first-person shooter with others. By getting a fire team of three together players can take on the various Strikes available in the Vanguard playlist.

Like Crucible or Gambit the more Strikes a player completes the better their reputation will be with Zavala that unlocks resources, shaders, and other equipment from him. New strikes are added with each expansion to keep the game interesting as well as players finally challenging themselves with a Nightfall.

2 Farm For Rolls On Weapons

A large factor of Destiny 2 is the weaponry players can unlock, not only is the drop chance of many of these weapons completely random, but the perks equipped onto each of them is also a game of chance.

Due to this use of RNG players are always looking for specific perks to be dropped on the guns they are using. Therefore, a player can take some time each day to complete said task that usually drops that weapon in a hope of getting one with a better roll of perks.

1 Collect Daily Bounties At The Different Vendors

One of the most crucial things players should consider doing daily while playing Destiny 2 is the daily bounties provided at the different vendors not only in the tower but also across every planet the player is allowed to explore.

These daily tasks run across various activities that a player may enjoy. Due to this, players shouldn't be attempting to do every single daily task on a vendor as this will take a lot of time. Instead, they should focus on the activities they enjoy as all these will reward experience to increase their rank on the season pass.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
