Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty brings many new interesting areas into the game, and here are the coolest of the bunch.

After players have successfully infiltrated Dogtown and Mr. Hands has been so kind as to register V as a Dogtown resident during the Lucretia My Reflection mission, players can roam Dogtown freely, and discover what happened to Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Head To Dogtown’s South East Area

Past the Voodoo Boys’ headquarters in Dogtown, players can head deep into the desert area, where players will note the wall of Dogtown that stops its citizens from escaping to the Badlands and into Night City. Inside Dogtown’s South East area, players will locate a hostile area, as shown in the image above.

In this hostile area, players might need to kill a few Scav enemies that are guarding Songbird’s crash site. After killing them, players can approach the noticeable lifepod that has been embedded into the dirt, just be careful of the corpses from the Scav enemies that might be blocking the view.

Explore Songbird’s Crash Site

At the site, players can use their Optic Scanner to discover that this lifepod was from Space Force One, the ship that carried President Myers and spurred V on this journey into Dogtown to save Myers, President of the NUSA on the promise of a cure for what the Relic was doing to them.

Johnny Silverhand will appear at the crash site and make a few comments about Songbird’s vessel. It’s great to see some lore outside the story that shows just how Songbird managed to survive the Space Force One crash. Players can use a high Technical Ability Attribute to determine just how Songbird managed to survive the crash that could’ve turned any lesser person into red paste.

There is no loot at Songbird’s crashed space pod, but it’s an interesting location to visit nonetheless. Players can find many easter eggs in Cyberpunk 2077 like these, which act as lore-heavy actions that forever change Night City and Dogtown for better, or worse.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
