Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty brings many new easter eggs into the game for players to uncover. The new district of Dogtown is filled with mystery and intrigue, and the latest easter egg to be discovered is a gift for the Baba Yaga himself, John Wick. This wouldn’t be the first John Wick easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077, but it is certainly the most direct.

Players can find the John Wick easter egg from the moment they reach Dogtown, although it’s worth waiting until Johnny Silverhand is back in the passenger seat rather than Songbird so that players can get a brief and foul-mouthed comment from Johnny about the John Wick discovery.

Head to Sofia’s Shop in the EBM Petrochem Stadium

Inside the large EBM Petrochem Stadium in Dogtown, players will find a central market filled with an assortment of shops and different vendors. However, players need to look past the black-market goodies, and head to the gun vendor, Sofia. Her shop isn’t far from the fast travel terminal, and it can be found on the left of the district.

Inside, Sophia waits behind the counter, with her armed bodyguards at the ready. This shop is hard to miss, due to the fact that it is riddled with an arsenal of different kinds of guns and bullets. Once inside, players need to head to the right of the counter and follow the back wall, turning to the right again, they will find the John Wick easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077.

For Mr. Wick

At this location, players will find an unlocked gun case, with a gold label on the top. This gold tablet reads For Mr. Wick, and there’s only one man with that name that the reaper fears: The Baba Yaga himself, John Wick. As soon as players approach this easter egg, Johnny Silverhand will appear and sit on a box just above the weapon crate, and make a rather vulgar comment about the crate whilst taking a drag of his digital cigarette.

It’s great to see CD Projekt RED add a John Wick easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and to have Johnny Silverhand of all people acknowledge it. As players might know, Johnny Silverhand and John Wick share the same actor: Keanu Reeves. Having Johnny comment about the gun crate that says For Mr. Wick is a great homage, but it’s no black suit. Perhaps Johnny is familiar with this Mr. Wick, and expresses concern over the fact that the Baba Yaga is still active in 2077.

Having the John Wick easter egg feature inside a gun store is poetic, as Sofia’s store in Dogtown is reminiscent of the Sommelier in John Wick 2, who sells an assortment of guns in an artistic and professional fashion. Sadly, players can’t loot the John Wick crate in Cyberpunk 2077, and the case is only slightly open, making it too hard to glimpse at what could be inside.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
