Cyberpunk 2077 players that have made it through Act 2 know that V loses their vehicle at that point in the game. However, it is possible to get the car back for free along with the slew of other free vehicles in Cyberpunk. In order to do this, players will have to complete a side mission or two.

Human Nature

Near the beginning of the game, V's car will be totaled by an out of control Delamaine, which is an AI-driven taxi vehicle in the story. While it's not the fastest vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077, players may still want to grab it back for either sentimental reasons or just to get around in Night City. While there are a ton of other vehicles in the game, this one is fairly easy to pick back up, or not depending on which choice V makes during the quest.

Players will be able to get their car back the quest Human Nature that will be available to players in Act 2. After crashing the vehicle, there is an invisible in-game timer that starts to count down. Players need to play 10 in-game hours before they can return to their Hella EC-D I360 fully repaired. Or maybe not.

Waiting it Out

While most players have just waited the ten in-game hours with all the exciting things to do when they are bored in Cyberpunk, players don't have to wait. As one YouTuber named ZaFrostPet mentioned in a video, players just need to complete a quest for the Epistrophy quest chain in order for the 10-hour in-game clock to finish, signaling the game to have the vehicle repaired.

Hopefully, this little Cyberpunk 2077 time glitch will work for everyone as it did for this YouTuber. Players will have to just complete one Epistrophy quest, then save and quit, then restart the game. After that, the rebuild of V's car should be completed.

Players will have to decide if they want the vehicle back or if they are going to sell it to or give it to the person that completed it. Head to the junkyard to finish the quest and get that Hella back on the road. If players choose not to take back their car, there are still tons of options for rides; players can buy vehicles, steal them, or find some around the map that are free for V with some side quest work. All the vehicle choices is one of the many things to love about Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions arriving in 2021.
