The Ballad of Buck Ravers is a side mission in Cyberpunk 2077's second act, and it sends players to talk to a variety of characters. One of the characters that fans will be speaking with during this mission is Johnny Silverhand, and indeed players will encounter him several times before everything is said and done. For those Cyberpunk 2077 fans that are having some trouble determining exactly where they should go to talk to Johnny, this guide offers full details.

This Cyberpunk 2077 side mission begins with the instruction to talk to Johnny, and he can initially be found not far from the Cherry Blossom Market fast travel station in Watson. More specifically, players should head south from this fast travel point, turn left to enter the market by the vending machines, and then continue south from there. Ultimately, this should lead fans to a flight of stairs, where Johnny is sitting next to a man playing the guitar, and here is a map that pinpoints that location:

The next time that Cyberpunk 2077 players will be told to talk to Johnny in The Ballad of Buck Ravers come when they visit the Rainbow Cadenza club, which is back through the market and is marked by a neon sign depicting a bowl of noodles. Here, Johnny will be leaning against a column at the club's entrance, and the conversation with him should trigger as soon as a fan approaches the establishment. If that does not occur, players should simply exit the building to talk to Johnny and complete the objective.

Players will now need to speak with Johnny one last time, and that conversation takes place at the music vendor's stand just outside of the Rainbow Cadenza club. Indeed, Johnny will materialize right next to the vendor after he has been persuaded to part with the tape, and this exchange will mark the end of the Ballad of Buck Ravers side mission. This will be confirmed onscreen with a notification about the job and the dispersal of some rewards, which includes street cred in Cyberpunk 2077.

While it may seem like talking to Johnny in this mission is a very simple thing to do so, some players are currently finding themselves in a situation where their waypoints are not displaying properly. Presumably, this is something that developer CD Projekt Red will address in a future Cyberpunk 2077 patch, but this guide should make completing The Ballad of Buck Ravers possible while fans wait for that to occur.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
