With Update 2.0, mechanics such as Cyberpunk 2077's Perk Trees received an overhaul to better the player experience. Vehicle combat has also been added to create intense moments during fights. So many changes were made that CD Projekt Red recommended that everyone should start a new playthrough. This has also contributed to the game’s placement on the Steam chart.

The Phantom Liberty expansion can redeem CD Projekt Red’s past reputation for Cyberpunk 2077. Players will follow V on a new journey branching off from the main game and away from Night City. The DLC itself brings a brand-new story and a new location called Dogtown to the game. Not only that, but it also introduces a revamped police system, vehicles, weapons, and much more for players to dig into.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
