Upon receiving the Shot By Both Sides gig, players should follow the in-game mission waypoint to reach Bree's apartment building in Night City. Fans should then ride the building's elevator up to the client's apartment and enter it, using either force or technical ability to get through the front door.

Inside Bree's apartment, Cyberpunk 2077 players should head into the bedroom and interact with the bamboo plant that is in the corner by the computer. This interaction will ultimately give fans access to a compartment beneath the plant, and they should take the access card that is within it.

Meet with Bree in Dogtown

With the access card in hand, players should text Mr. Hands, exit the apartment, and talk to the stranger that is at the door. Fans should then follow the new in-game mission waypoint to reach an elevator that is near Dogtown's Kress Street fast travel point, use that elevator to access the lower level, and follow these steps to find Bree:

  • Descend the ramp, turning right at the bottom.
  • Use the ladder in the corner to reach the floor crawl space.
  • Crawl through, jump out at the far end, and follow the path to the right.
  • Drop into the opening at the end of the path and crawl through the hole.

Escort Bree

After encountering Bree, and giving her the access card, fans will need to complete a section in which they pass through a series of threat-filled rooms. In the first of the rooms, players must simply enter and scan two ceiling-mounted turrets. In the second and third rooms, player must enter and destroy the turrets. And in the final room, players must pass through a door on the left and use the computer that is beyond to turn off the active defense systems.

Cyberpunk 2077: Should You Kill Dante or Not

Fans will find themselves in a lab following this Cyberpunk 2077 gig's escort section, and Bree will be confronted by Dante (the aforementioned stranger) while they are within it. During this confrontation, players must make a quick decision, and here are details on the two options that are available to them:

Kill Dante

Players that opt to kill Dante will have the ability to loot the Ol' Reliable Iconic Power Revolver from his body as well as Bree's Riskit Iconic Power Pistol from a nearby table. Fans can then exit the lab and call Mr. Hands, and the Cyberpunk 2077 fixer will transfer 5,000 eddies to V's account.

Let Dante Kill Bree

If the player instead allows Dante to shoot Bree, they will receive information confirming that his accusations were true as well as 5,000 eddies as a reward. These fans will also have the opportunity to loot the Riskit Iconic Power Pistol from Bree's body before they leave the lab, and they should call Mr. Hands upon exiting. Notably, the fixer will not be particularly pleased with V's performance and will not provide any additional funds.

With respect to which option is best, killing Dante does award one additional Iconic weapon. That said, players that are primarily concerned with roleplaying, and believe that the Cyberpunk 2077 protagonist would be swayed by Dante's words, should feel free to let him execute Bree.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
