There are a number of optional objectives in Cyberpunk 2077's The Information mission, and one of them asks players to scan the apartment's security systems. To do this, fans will need to zero in on some specific objects within the apartment, and indeed locating them all can be a bit challenging. For players that may find themselves stuck trying to scan the apartment's security systems in Cyberpunk 2077, this guide has full details.

To start, Cyberpunk 2077 fans should enter the yellow Visual Layer and pause the recording just as the elevator door opens. Players should now position the camera inside of this elevator, and they will see two scannable items to the right. Those are an Alarm System, which appears as a rectangle on the wall, and a Motion Sensor Camera, which is above the door next to the Alarm System, and fans should make sure to scan both of those objects, as well as Smasher, before they advance the recording.

When that has been done, players should look to the point near the end of the recording where Evelyn and Yorinobu are heading toward the bedroom. They should then turn their attention to the ceiling between the sitting area and the bedroom, and here they will find another Motion Sensor Camera and an Automated Turret. Fans should simply scan these two things when they have been located in order to complete the "scan the apartment's security systems" optional objective in this Cyberpunk 2077 mission.

To note, there is indication that players can scan a Motion Sensor Camera that is positioned above where Yorinobu sits when on the phone as well as the pistol that is at the end the of the bed. However, scanning these items may not be required for the completion of the optional task detailed in this guide. Even still, if a player finds that the "scan the apartment's security systems" objective remain after they have followed the steps outlined above, then they may want to try scanning these two additional items.

Once a fan has scanned the final item for this task, they will learn that they need the Flathead to disable the security system. This robot is obtained from Royce during Cyberpunk 2077's The Pickup mission, though the exact method of acquisition depends on the player. Indeed, there is a notable choice associated with earning the Flathead, and RPG fans may have a considerable amount of blood on their hands by the time that they reach The Information.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
