Roads to Redemption is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC that players can begin after they have finished the Firestarter main mission. To complete this gig, fans must infiltrate one of Hansen's weapon facilities, upload some software into a Net-nuke, and make a choice that will determine the client's fate. This guide is here to provide details on those aspects of this optional mission, and it will help players resolve Cyberpunk 2077's Gig: Roads to Redemption.

Talk to Nele

Gig: Roads to Redemption begins by speaking with Nele, a character that is seated at a table in Dogtown's stadium. During this conversation, players will receive further context for the mission, as well as a datashard, and they should follow the waypoint to the nearby factory when it comes to an end.

Find the Net-Nuke

Upon arriving at the factory, and entering it by inputting "1701" into the wall panel, Cyberpunk 2077's players must set their sights on locating the Net-nuke. Here is a path that fans can use to reach that weapon, and they should be ready to dispatch many BARGHEST soliders and destroy many turrets along the way:

  • Follow the corridors into the open room, and ride the elevator in the north wall up to Manufacturing.
  • Exit the elevator, head east, and drop into the production area.
  • Continue traveling east to reach the room with three gold statues.
  • Pass through the room, and follow the yellow line on the ground into the door on the right.
  • Ascend the small ramp and use the door on the left to find the Net-nuke.

Players that follow the red line on the ground will find themselves at a shooting range. The Hercules 3AX Iconic Smart Assault Rifle is in a case in this area.

Go to the Meeting Point

After locating the Net-nuke and uploading the Malware, players should use the mission waypoints to exit the factory and reach the meeting point. Fans should then enter Nele's car and get ready to make a choice in this Phantom Liberty DLC gig.

Some players report that they are unable to leave the factory due to an inoperable exit door. Unfortunately, there is no known workaround for this issue at the time of writing, and fans that find themselves in this situation may need to load a save that was made prior to entering the factory.

Cyberpunk 2077: Should You Side with Nele or the Biotechnica Agents

Shortly after stepping into Nele's vehicle, players will find themselves in a confrontation with several Biotechnica Agents who will reveal that the client is responsible for the death of 32 civilians. The Cyberpunk 2077 protagonist must then either turn Nele over to the agents or kill them, and this is a decision that some fans may struggle to make.

Players need not agonize over this choice, though, as it is purely an opportunity to roleplay. Indeed, fans will have access to the same rewards and content regardless of the option that they select, and players should thus feel free to base their decision on whether they believe that Nele deserves another chance or not.

Fans will have several opportunities to support Nele during the confrontation with the Biotechnica Agents. That said, drawing a weapon on the agents will immediately lock V into being on Nele's side, and players should be aware of that fact before selecting that option.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
