While Cyberpsycho Sightings in Cyberpunk 2077 may primarily center around dispatching foes, that is not all that players will need to do in order to complete these gigs. Indeed, many Cyberpsycho Sightings feature objectives that ask fans to handle pieces of information, and that information can take the form of Shards. For those players that are unclear about exactly how they are to read these Shards in Cyberpunk 2077, this guide has all of the details that they will need.

To put things simply, Shards can be accessed by way of the "Shards" menu, which is located just underneath "Journal" on the right side of the main menu. Upon accessing this menu, Cyberpunk 2077 players will encounter a list of all of the Shards that they have in their possession, and they must now locate the one that is referenced in the Cyberpsycho Sighting that they are working on. That may be an Archived Conversation or a Shard that is just titled "Farewell," and all of them can be found in the same place.

After locating the relevant Shard, all a fan needs to do is click on it to read it and complete the associated objectives in these Cyberpunk 2077 gigs. From there, players are free to close the Shard menu and begin working on the gig's next task, which may be to send the information to Regina. Fans can do this quite easily by pulling out their in-game phones, navigating to their messages with Regina Jones, and selecting the one that shares the name with the appropriate Cyberpsycho Sighting.

While players that follow the instructions that are outlined in this guide should have little trouble reading Shards and completing Cyberpsycho Sightings, some fans may feel that there is not enough in-game instruction on these basic mechanics. Perhaps that is something that will be addressed in a future Cyberpunk 2077 patch, but for now players may need to look for outside sources to offer further clarity on certain aspects of the title.

For example, there is a particular mission objective that seems to be giving players quite a bit of trouble due to a lack of in-game explanation. That objective comes in The Gig, and it instructs fans to collect a free reward from Cassius Ryder's ripperdoc shop inventory. Ultimately, this task is extremely easy to complete, simply requiring players to check their Hands slot, but the fact that so many fans are having a hard time with it suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 needs to offer further information.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
