Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC has four possible endings, which players can access by making specific choices in the expansion's final missions. While fans may be able to identify these ending-altering choices as they play through the DLC, they may want to have definitive confirmation of which decisions are important before making selections. This guide is here to provide that confirmation, and it will help players earn all the endings to Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC.

To note, this guide will not provide detailed information about what occurs in Phantom Liberty's endings, and it will instead focus exclusively on the actions that Cyberpunk 2077 players must take in order to reach them. This is done in attempt to minimize spoilers, though fans are likely to get a fairly solid understanding of how the endings unfold simply by reading these instructions.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Endings Guide

Before getting into how Phantom Liberty's endings are accessed, it is worth mentioning that players can see all four of them without fully replaying this Cyberpunk 2077 DLC. This is done through the use of strategic manual saves, and the notes that appear in the following instructions will assist with that endeavor.

Ending #1: King of Cups (Fulfill Songbird's Request)

Make a manual save when entering the lab with Songbird in the Firestarter main mission. Make a manual save before entering the core in the Somewhat Damaged main missions.

  1. During the Firestarter main mission, select "help Reed capture Songbird."
  2. Complete the Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos main mission in the Phantom Liberty DLC.
  3. During the Somewhat Damaged main mission, select "kill So Mi."
  4. Complete the subsequent main missions.

Ending #2: King of Pentacles (Refuse Songbird's Request)

Load the manual save from the Somewhat Damaged main mission and skip to Step 3.

  1. During the Firestarter main mission, select "help Reed capture Songbird."
  2. Complete the Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos main mission.
  3. During the Somewhat Damaged main mission, select "that's not a solution" when given the option to kill So Mi.
  4. During the Somewhat Damaged main mission, select "spare So Mi."
  5. Complete the subsequent main missions.

Ending #3: King of Wands (Take Songbird to the Stars)

Load the manual save from the Firestarter main mission. Make a manual save before getting on the train in The Killing Moon main mission.

  1. During the Firestarter main mission, select "help Songbird escape."
  2. During The Killing Moon main mission, select "pickup Songbird," carry her to the shuttle, and select "lay Songbird down" when confronted by Reed.
  3. During the confrontation with Cyberpunk 2077's Reed, select "draw weapon," kill him, and complete the mission.

Ending #4: King of Swords (Take Songbird Home)

Load the manual save from The Killing Moon main mission.

  1. During the Firestarter main mission, select "help Songbird escape."
  2. During The Killing Moon main mission, select "call Reed" then pickup Songbird and carry her to the shuttle.
  3. During the confrontation with Reed, give Songbird to him.

One final thing to mention is that the Phantom Liberty DLC does add a new ending to the base game, and it can be accessed after receiving the King of Swords ending. Indeed, fans will receive a call from Reed following that DLC conclusion, and his contact will initiate a series of main missions that leads to the new Cyberpunk 2077 ending. For full clarity, those missions are Through Pain to Heaven, Who Wants to Live Forever, and Things Done Changed, and players will receive The Tower achievement when the last of them is complete.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
