The Second Heart is a cyberware upgrade that gives the player an extra life. Specifically, it brings the player back to 100% Health when their Health drops to 0. The catch is that this item comes with a cooldown of 2 minutes, meaning it can only be used once per fight. The Second Heart is useful for players who didn’t put enough points into Cyberpunk 2077 skills to stay alive but can ultimately be useful for any player that is worried about dying.
Where is the Second Heart
This item is not looted from the open world but rather purchased from a ripperdoc. To find this legendary upgrade, players must first head to the Pumping Station fast travel point in Heywood, on the opposite side of the zone where players can find the Skippy pistol. From there, they simply look for the Mac N’ Cheezus sign behind them and head for the stairs across the street and on the right side. Up the stairs and down the hallway is the Doc Ryder sign and a ripperdoc who sells the Second Heart.
What Are the Requirements
The Second Heart can be purchased for 42,000 eurodollars. There is also a requirement of 16 Body in order to equip it. Since this is one of the most useful items in the entire game, players may want to plan their attributes accordingly in case they weren’t already planning on having a Body stat of at least 16. While there are plenty of other useful cyberware upgrades in Night City, a second life is pretty hard to beat.
In terms of full loadout, there are plenty of good options for weapons that go well with this item. Many players prefer melee or explosives while wearing the Second Heart so that they can rush enemies or survive detonations. The Comrade’s Hammer revolver shoots explosives and becomes even more useful once the player essentially has a second health bar. The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is massive and full of powerful hidden items, so there are plenty of options when it comes to customizing different playstyles.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. It will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021.
