In Cyberpunk 2077, as in many games, it's often easier to kill enemies from a distance rather than up close. Unlike those games, Cyberpunk 2077 offers an effective alternative to using one of the game's powerful sniper rifles: hacking.

Utilizing Quick Hacks is one of the most powerful options available to players in Cyberpunk 2077. The correct build will see players decimating enemies from far away, behind walls, or even from entirely different areas or rooms. However, all that deadly software needs powerful hardware to back it up. First and foremost, players will need a good cyberdeck, so here's how to get one of the best: the Netwatch Netdriver Mk.5.

Why This Cyberdeck is Worth It

There are a lot of options when it comes to cyberdecks in Cyberpunk 2077, and they can be pretty pricey. The Netdriver in particular, as a Legendary item, is both expensive and comes with a Street Cred requirement. Players may not want to spring for it when it's possible to get a Legendary cyberdeck earlier on. However, the earliest powerhouse Legendary cyberdeck, the Raven Microcyber Mk.4, is a more defensively themed cyberdeck, and not as powerful as the Netdriver. It's a good place to start, but the Netdriver is worth the upgrade.

Where to Get It

Head over to Heywood, then get to the Wellsprings area. This is located in the South-Western corner of Heywood, and encompasses a lot of territory. Look for a Ripperdoc close to the Western edge of the area, just East of the road running along the Western edge of Wellsprings. His office has a big sign outside reading "Doc Ryder." Once V has 49 or more Street Cred, they can purchase the Netdriver if they have enough Eddies. Of course, with the numerous unlimited money tricks in Cyberpunk 2077, actually purchasing the thing probably won't prove too difficult.

Properly Utilizing the Netdriver

The Netdriver is a fantastic cyberdeck, but there's no point in buying it if a player doesn't intend to go for a full hacking build. To get the most out of such a costly piece of equipment, invest in the best Quick Hacks and level them up. Also, put points into the Intelligence tree, since that's where the best hacking powers come from.

With the proper combination of Quick Hacks and this cyberdeck, players will find very little standing in their way. Machines will crumble, meatier foes will burn, and enemy netrunners will be powerless. The Netdriver is one of the key components to having a truly overpowered build in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming in 2021.
