The long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, and with it comes plenty of personal touches. Players can carefully select skills, gear, appearance, and even their car. Cars in Cyberpunk 2077 can be purchased and stored for later use, but not until players reach a certain point in the game.

There are many options for cars in Cyberpunk 2077. Some of these can be stolen, while others are simply purchased at a certain point. Players should know that any vehicles they steal cannot be stored for permanent storage, so it is worth it to properly buy some cars once the feature is unlocked.

Where to Find Cars

Once players reach Act 2 in the game, they can start finding vehicles as they wander Night City. The Fixer will text V with information about a nearby vehicle for sale. The text message can be viewed in the Messages tab of their Journal menu and will contain basic info about the vehicle. Once the player decides to purchase their new Cyberpunk 2077 car, they simply need to go to a specific location in the Rides tab.

How to Buy Cars

Once players find the location for the car that they are interested in, they need to go there and approach the vehicle. They can now complete the purchase and add the car to their Cyberpunk vehicle calling list. The Fixer will send a text message to the player confirming the purchase, and the car will be rightfully theirs. This will store the car for future recall, which is why buying a car is much more useful down the road than simply stealing one that the player comes across.

How to Select Cars

Once a player owns a car, they can call the vehicle by holding down a specific button depending on what platform they are playing on. If the player owns multiple cars, then holding down this button will pull up a list of all of their available cars in Cyberpunk 2077. This is handy if the player wants to use a specific car for a specific mission or just to drive around in, further increasing the level of roleplay in the game.

As an extra note, there are some cars that the player can unlock through Side Jobs. These are still being discovered by players but provide extra incentive for completing certain missions. With Cyberpunk 2077 still being new, there are sure to be plenty of other secrets and unlockable rewards just waiting to be discovered.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
