Fans that have been following Cyberpunk 2077 since the early days were no doubt hyped to jump in and get their hands on a pair of Mantis Blades. These weapons were featured in the first ever teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, and have been an iconic representation of the game ever since.

Although these Cyberware weapons are already very deadly, Cyberpunk 2077 players can further upgrade them with the Fast Rotor mod to increase their efficacy. This mod will increase the attack speed of the Mantis Blades significanty, but like all things in this game, will require a bit of money to purchase.

For players wondering where to find Mantis Blades early and for free in Cyberpunk 2077, there's a chest in Corpo Plaza that can be manipulated to spawn it every time. After that, equipping them, players will need to seek out a Ripperdoc in Rancho Coronado in order to purchase the mod.

The Ripperdoc in question can be found on the southeast tip of this district, located up high in the slum like buildings here. Once inside, players will need to talk to the Ripperdoc and enter the trade menu. Among other wares, players should be able to purchase an Epic Fast Rotor mod here for 1,750 Eurodollars. The Ripperdoc can also help the player equip their Mantis Blades if they aren't yet, and then players can apply the mod themselves from the Cyberware inventory menu.

The Epic Fast Rotor mod increases the Mantis Blades' attack speed by a staggering 35%. Given that these weapons already were fairly rapid fire in terms of attack speed, this boost will definitely be noticeable after equipping the mod. For close quarters combat, there are few weapons that can match the Mantis Blades, so players that have decided to go this route should be sure to invest in the upgrade as soon as possible. Compared to the price of Cyberpunk 2077's more expensive items, 1,750 Eurodollars should be mostly manageable by players even early on.

It should also be said that there is a legendary variant of this mod as well, providing a 45% boost to attack speed instead. This mod can be purchased from the Ripperdoc in Chery Blossom Market, but will cost four times as much, going for 7,000 Eurodollars. The extra 10% attack speed could be worth the price though, so players will have to make that decision for themselves. Regardless, most would agree that the Mantis Blades are one of the best things about Cyberpunk 2077.
