Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out, and despite a litany of technical issues, players are finding themselves immersed in the world that is Night City. Collecting bounties is just one of the things there is to do in Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red's long-awaited title has seen a long road to launch. First announced back in 2012, the infamously delayed game has seen its release pushed back on several occasions. Now that it's released, many fans are criticizing Cyberpunk 2077's lackluster performance on Xbox One and PS4, prompting the developer to offer refunds for players disappointed in the title's last-gen versions.

How to Complete Bounties

There are plenty of instances throughout Night City where V will have opportunities to collect a bounty. One of the earlier things players learn in the game is that with V's upgraded scanner, they can see anyone that has a bounty on them. In order to collect the bounty, all players need to do is subdue the target. The takedown method doesn't particularly matter, although players are reporting Cyberpunk 2077's melee combat is somewhat clunky. Fortunately, there isn't any kind of follow-up to claim the money; players will see the amount once the job is done. However, if players subdue the enemy and don't see any Eddies pop-up, they're likely still in combat. This can be confirmed by the mini-map's red "combat" border.

As to whether collecting any random bounty is worth the trouble is debatable. Individual bounties have a tendency to call for players to subdue more than just the bounty. Although, since the bounties on the many people of Night City can vary wildly, players will want to assess on a case-by-case basis. V can see how much a bounty is worth in both Eddies and Street Cred in the scanner.

NCPD Crime Rewards

Similar to bounties are the rewards for reported crimes. Players who choose to take on an Assault in Progress or another NCPD-related task will likely need to eliminate multiple enemies with bounties. Also, these usually require the secondary task of finding evidence to finish the job. Players will know they've found the proper evidence when the task disappears off the side of the screen. Players should see "Job Complete" once they've successfully completed all of the crime's related tasks. One important thing for players to remember is to loot everything in the area after the crime is cleaned up. This is where it's more likely for players to find junk items worth over 750 Eddies. Although, the unlimited money glitch might be even more effective.

Completing bounties in Cyberpunk 2077 is an easy task. While there are plenty of things to do in Night City, not every option is made to be so obvious. If players are finding themselves through much of the game, don't worry - free Cyberpunk 2077 DLC is confirmed.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions arriving in 2021.
