Updated on February 22, 2022, by Michael Llewellyn: The long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 patch has arrived. It's now a more stable game for last-gen console users with better performance overall. However, it's the current-gen upgrades for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S that have understandably received the most attention from fans and critics alike. While some consider the improvements modest compared to its PC counterpart the upgrades make a significant difference for console players.

There will be more patches and updates to follow but in meantime, the 1.5 patch for Cyberpunk 2077 brought with it some free DLC that includes new weapons and attachments for players to toy around with. Unfortunately, there weren't any new pistols in the update, but there were some upgrades and mods which will be included at the bottom of the page. This list has been updated to include more detailed stats for each pistol, so the player can decide for themselves what the best pistols in Cyberpunk 2077 are.

17 Plan B

Cyberpunk 2077 Plan B pistol splash image

Players know Dexter Deshawn as an influential fixer in Night City, and it's easy to see why he's "at the top of his game" after players meet him during the game's prologue. Love him or hate him, it's hard to deny that Dexter is a man with power, money, and influence.

His signature weapon, Plan B, is just as high-dollar as he is. The Power Pistol features an iconic perk that increases its chance to apply the bleed status effect to enemies, and it has "unlimited ammo" for those with overflowing pockets. Instead of using Pistol Ammo, Plan B will siphon through the players' Eurodollars. It's not recommended for those low on cash, but for players who have heavy pockets and watch to inflict DOT via bleed, it's a great choice.

How To Get Plan B

The Plan B Pistol is acquired by completing the “The Heist” mission. After the scene where Dexter betrays V and attempts to kill him and leave him for dead in the Junkyard, a scene will show Dexter getting executed by Takemura.

Those that stick close to Royce's associate Dum Dum (and manage to keep him alive during the ensuing battle) will be rewarded with Doom Doom after all's said and done.
