With Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0, CD Projekt RED has gone above and beyond to revamp and restyle the entire game. Cyberpunk 2077 still has the core attributes that players know, but almost every skill is new and offers a grand level of personality for the individual and best builds in Cyberpunk 2077. Within those builds, players are bound to find the best Reflex skills due to the versatility and importance of this attribute.

The best Reflex skills in Cyberpunk 2077 focus on evading enemy attacks, agility and maneuverability, and proficiency with Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, and blades. Players can use the best Reflex skills to gain some advanced movements and attacks that will have the criminals of Night City cowering from what V is capable of.

Lead And Steel

V with a regular katana in Cyberpunk 2077

Lead and Steel is the first perk that can be unlocked in the right skill tree. Lead and Steel is reserved only for the players who want to wield a blade, and players will need 2 Perk Points to fully invest in the skill. At level 1, players can expect a -15% stamina cost for blade attacks. Level 2 will unlock the ability to block incoming projectiles with blades, which may consume stamina, but it means players can literally block bullets with a katana.

Bullet Deflect

After Lead and Steel, players are going to want to pick up Bullet Deflect. This perk allows players to not only block the projectiles with their blade, but they will actually deflect them back into wherever their reticle is aimed. Players need at least 33% of their stamina to do this, and a well-timed block just before the bullet hits means that the deflected bullet will deal even more damage thanks to this counter ability.

Bullet Time

With Bullet Time activated, time will slow, and players can use Bullet Deflect to a greater degree thanks to the fact that it will not consume stamina. Deflecting a bullet during Bullet Time will also allow for these deflections to automatically hit enemies for a guaranteed Crit Damage.

Finisher: Blade Runner

After the Lead and Steel perk, Finisher: Blade Runner is the final and greatest blade perk in the Reflex skill tree. This perk has 3 levels to do it, each requiring its own Perk Point. The first level will give players a -15% stamina cost for their blade attacks, whilst level 2 will provide players with a +20% attack speed with said blades.

Finally, level 3 will unlock a violent Blade Finisher to dismember, in which players can press the action button to commit to a fatal finishing blow on an enemy once their health is low. Committing to this finisher will grant players 25% health restoration.

Stunjock

Cyberpunk-2077-Phantom-Liberty

Separate from the skill tree, Stunjock is an outlier, but a fun one at that. Players can pick up Stunjock for one skill point, and it will unlock brilliant and exciting new ways to exit vehicles. As players might know, Night City is a big place, so getting around in a vehicle is a must. Yet, Stunjock unlocks some exhilarating ways to get out of the vehicle and straight into the action.

  • Jump Out – Players can double tap the action button to leap out of the car, all whilst shooting their weapons.
  • Slide Out – Holding the action button will let players slide out of the car at high speeds, and they can continue to fire their weapons.
  • Stunjock also allows players to have a -50% reduction in bullet spread while driving.

Slippery

V with a sniper rifle in Cyberpunk 2077

In the middle Reflex skill tree, players can pick up Slippery. This encourages players to move at higher speeds, as the faster the player moves, the harder it is for enemies to shoot at V. This effect is increased if the player is Dashing, Dodging, Sliding, Sprinting, or Vaulting, meaning that rapid movements are the key to success.

Muscle Memory

With Muscle Memory attacked to Slippery, players can reload their weapons whilst sprinting, sliding, and vaulting. This means that players never have to get behind cover for an ammo count, as they can just reload whilst on the move, making sure the adrenaline of warfare never stops.

Power Slide

With Power Slide, players can slide for longer distances, allowing them to quickly dive behind cover, or avoid gunfire as they slide from one enemy to the next.

Parkour!

Vaulting and climbing speeds are increased with this perk, allowing players to reach new heights at all-new speeds.

Multitasker

Perhaps the best of the bottom row for the middle-skill tree, Multitasker will allow players to shoot their weapons whilst they are sprinting, sliding, or vaulting. This grants more freedom of movement and an assurance of gunplay.

Dash

Cyberpunk 2077-2

The second central perk of the middle skill tree, Dash requires 2 Perk points to be successful. Level 1 of the perk does not offer players much, but it comes in handy after level 2 has unlocked. With level 1, players are able to dodge and dash at a total reduction of 20% stamina, meaning they can certainly dash and dodge more often than before.

However, level 2 actually unlocks the ability to dash, which will be the crouch button for the chosen system. Dashing does replace dodging, but it will allow players to vault over low obstacles, and cover more ground, which is far more advanced than the classic dodge.

Steady Grip

Since players now have a -20% to their total use of dashes, Steady Grip is a great pick for players considering it allows them to shoot while dashing. This means players can stay on the move, evading attacks, and still shoot their guns to the efficiency of a trained killer like Adam Smasher.

Air Dash

Cyberpunk 2077 - Release Trailer Showing Modified People Using Charge Jump For Basketball

Level 1 of Air Dash allows for a -20% consumption of stamina whenever a dash is performed.

Level 2 of Air Dash allows for a 20% increase in dash speed.

Finally, Level 3 will unlock the ability to dash in midair, which ensures that players can stick to the skies, and keep the high ground against their opponents for some truly exciting combat encounters.

Aerial Acrobat

Attached to Air Dash, Aerial Acrobat will improve midair maneuverability so that players have better control over their recently unlocked Air Dash ability.

Tailwind

Cyberpunk 2077 - Using Double Jump To Jump A Long Distance

The final perk for the middle-skill tree, Tailwind will reward players with a +25 stamina for every time they perform an air dash or a double jump, effectively meaning that they can stay in the air for much longer than before this unlock.

Ready, Rested, Reloaded

cyberpunk-2077-matilda-rose-gun

As the first perk to the left skill tree in Reflexes, this perk has 2 levels, and both of them are only used to affect Assault Rifles and SMGs, which is a great choice for anyone who wants to wield a gun, as those are some of the best weapons in Cyberpunk 2077.

Level 1 will provide players with a -10% stamina cost for shooting with Assault Rifles and SMGs. Meanwhile, Level 2 will provide a +30% reload speed bonus if the player is currently above 50% stamina.

Sharpshooter

Cyberpunk 2077 Landing Critical Hits With An SMG

The Sharpshooter perk has three levels that will affect the results and impact of Assault Rifles and SMGs. Here are all three levels, and why players should invest:

Level 1 – players can expect a +15% to their aim speed, ensuring that they can pull off those accurate shots to get critical hit damage against their enemies fair more efficiently and tactically.

Level 2 – Improved weapon control means that players can rely less on fighting the gun, as players can have a smoother set of controls, and comfort when it comes to controlling the recoil and the way the gun fires.

Level 3 – When players successfully hit their target, they will be granted a stack of Sharpshooter, which counts as +7% stamina regeneration for 2 seconds per stack. This can stack to 7 times, meaning players can have up to 42% stamina regeneration as long as they are shooting their targets. If the time runs out, their stack will reset.

Gundancer

As perhaps one of the best gun perks to use for tactical weapons like Assault Rifles and SMGs, the Gundancer perk allows players to shoot whilst vaulting. However, that is not the only selling point of this perk, as players can actually use it to aim their weapon without a reduction to their movement. Players can clear corners and walk at a fast pace around their enemies, all while aiming.

Salt In The Wound

Although Salt in the Wound is reserved for Assault Rifles only, it’s still a great perk to use for dealing with those larger and more tank-like enemies. With Salt in the Wound, players can shoot the same target 7 times in consecutive fashion to deal bonus damage that is the equivalent of 100% of the damage they have fired within those 7 shots, effectively doubling the damage to the Assault Rifle used.

Air Kerenzikov

Cyberpunk 2077 - Third Person Example Of Using Charge Jump

Perhaps the best perk in terms of mobility, the Air Kerenzikov will allow players to activate the Kerenzikov in midair to keep themselves suspended whilst above the ground, extending the duration of an air dash to fire their Assault Rifles and SMGs from above their enemies. However, players will need both Gundancer and Aerial Acrobat to activate this perk, meaning they need to almost fully complete the left and middle skill trees.
