The release of Cyberpunk 2077 is within sight and many are excited to see how the game plays and whether it can match expectations. The developer, CD Projekt Red, has a reputation for creating some of the best open-world games, and the setting of Cyberpunk 2077 looks to push the size and scope of RPG's further. As a result, it is one of the most anticipated games of the year and fans are eager to see more content from the game before its release.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to allow players to explore a huge dystopian open-world with plenty of variety through its different districts. Players can choose a 'Lifepath' in Cyberpunk 2077 which will place them in the streets, a corporate world, or the Badlands. The Badlands look like they take inspiration from the Mad Max films and are poor and desolate. The team at Cyberpunk 2077 has shared an image of the Badlands and it seems that there is more than just rural life to be experienced in the game.

The image was shared by the official twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 and it simply stated "Badlands." The image shows what looks to be a center for rural agriculture with several warehouse/ greenhouse inspired buildings. Above these structures are floating vehicles that shine lights down on to the scene. Interestingly these objects seemingly have images on the side that may be working as a television. The image has caused a lot of excitement and many are keen to find out more about the dark and enigmatic picture that has been shared.

Interestingly Pawel Sasko, who is the lead quest designer for the game, responded with a gif of driving in the game and it seems that internally the team is a fan of the desolate area. Many of the comments discussed the different 'Lifepaths' in Cyberpunk 2077 and while there still seems to be plenty of differing opinions, some members of CD Projekt Red may have already picked their favorite. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see how these images represent the full Nomad experience in the Badlands.

Many will want to know more about the world in Cyberpunk 2077 and while these images create excitement, it doesn't offer too much insight into the game and its features. Fans will be keen to hear and see more, but they may have to wait until the release of the game before they have a deeper understanding of the dystopian world.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches November 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and later for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The multiplayer game is not expected to launch until 2022.
