Popular roguelike independent title Cult of the Lamb has just teased an upcoming crossover with survival video game Don't Starve. Being one of the more successful independent games released in recent years, Cult of the Lamb is known by gamers for its quirky online content and strong social media presence, making this collaboration with Don't Starve definitely something to look forward to.
Celebrating its one-year anniversary last June 2023, Cult of the Lamb had promised the player base that it will be releasing two free DLCs this year as well. The first post-launch content called Relics of the Old Faith, was launched in April, and added a lot of new content that fans could enjoy. This includes an extra storyline after the main story, powerful new Relics, additional cult follower forms, and more. However, nothing about the second DLC has been shared by the developers yet, and with the upcoming crossover with Don't Starve may indicate that the team will have more to share about this soon.

Likewise, in the Don't Starve trailer, Wilson turns around to also find a portal that features Lamb's silhouette. Finally, the date August 21 appears at the tail end of each trailer, likely telling fans to tune in on that specific day for more information.
Fans of both popular horror-themed video games seem to be excited about the crossover, and have already started speculating about what content they can expect from the collaboration.
