Without a doubt, a bevy of gamers considered Crackdown 3 to be one of the top Xbox One exclusives to look forward to, as players had been excited to finally learn some more about the forthcoming third-person open world shooter from Sumo Digital. Thankfully, the studio has now given folks an additional bit of insight into what can be expected from title by releasing a brand new gameplay trailer during Microsoft's E3 2018 presser.

Fans can get a look at the latest trailer for Sumo Digital's Crackdown 3 at E3 2018 directly below. For the most part, the footage focuses on actor Terry Crews' character Commander Jackson running throughout the game's open world, powering up, and plowing through practically everything in sight. The gameplay depicts the futuristic warrior blowing up environments with a homing rocket gun, pushing enemies away with a gravity pulse gun called the Vortex Cannon, and an enemy-tethering firearm.

Sumo Digital's Crackdown 3 gameplay trailer also features how players will be able to explore the open world in a variety of vehicles ranging from a race car design for highways, a wall climbing rover, and an explosive tank. What's more is that fans are given a gander at a slew of different enemy types such as mechs, mad scientists, and a even potential boss battle.

While Crackdown 3's showing during Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference has undoubtedly intrigued many fans – particularly when the explosive rubber ducky gun was shown off – but they will have to exercise a bit more patience until getting their hands on the title. After all, the rumor was finally confirmed that Crackdown 3 has been delayed until 2019. Hopefully, though, it will be well worth the wait to join Commander Jackson out in the field.

Crackdown 3 is currently scheduled for launch in February 2019 for the PC and Xbox One.
