YouTube streamer Corpse Husband started creating videos in 2015 narrating various horror stories sent in by fans. The streamer has quickly risen to fame this year for his Among Us gaming videos and his music, boasting millions of streams on Spotify. During a recent stream playing Raft with Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and others, fans and fellow streamers pointed out that Corpse did not seem like himself, prompting Valkyrae to check on him and support him getting off stream.

Corpse Husband left the stream shortly after, causing fans to pour in support on social media with the hashtag #selfcareforcorpse. Over 100,000 tweets with the hashtag caused Corpse Husband to respond, thanking fans and revealing his chronic illness to his fans. According to Corpse, he has been chronically ill for years, which puts him in constant pain. Corpse added that he is ok and apologized for worrying anyone.

Twitch streamer Valkyrae's awareness during the stream and her support for Corpse has been praised by fans. Valkyrae asking "are you ok?" and making sure Corpse got off stream if he was struggling was extremely caring especially during a stream with multiple people. Valkyrae also responded to Corpse Husband's tweet, reminding him that they can play another day and that his health comes first. Many also pointed out that fans care more for the streamer's health than the amount of time he can spend streaming.

Corpse Husband currently has over 6.25 million subscribers on YouTube, gaining nearly 5 million subscribers over the last three months due to his popularity playing Among Us. Although Corpse Husband keeps his personal life very private, his fans have shown genuine care and support for the streamer's mental and physical health on social media. Fans have asked the streamer to not push himself for the sake of producing more content, as his health is more important than any game.

Corpse Husband gained a ton of popularity during his Among Us stream with prominent US politicians Alexandria Occasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. During the stream, AOC was surprised by Corpse Husband's deep voice, which led to some wholesome exchanges between the two. While Corpse Husband's deep voice may draw in viewers, his charisma and outgoing nature have caused fans to love and support him.

Corpse Husband showed bravery by revealing his chronic illness and the support that came back may inspire others to speak up about their health. He received a ton of support from fans, but his fellow streamers noticing him struggling was important. If they had said nothing, Corpse may have kept pushing himself through pain for the sake of not letting his fans down. Moving forward, everybody is rooting for Corpse Husband to focus on his health and keep his spirits up with the help of his fans.
